We greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had originally booked only two nights, but stayed an extra night because we loved the hotel, and the town of Amasya! Our room ( we were upgraded to a suite after a small issue with our initial room) was lovely; comfortable bed, lots of space, clean and modern. The 'complicated shower' that is mentioned in other views was great! I recommend getting in, shutting the door tight, and experimenting with the settings! The breakfasts were really great as well. Served in a nice outdoor courtyard, the food was fresh and plentiful, with a good variety of olives, jams, and pastries. Best breakfasts we had in our month in Turkey. And best of all was the staff. From our welcome tray of cookies and juice to an impromptu tour of one of the town's local sights, we felt very well looked after! Despite the language barrier (our lack of Turkish, their little English- thank you google translator!) we felt like our needs were well met, above our expectations! The owner in particular is a lovely, friendly man. He even drove us to the bus station, making sure we had our tickets, and were looked after there as well! He has a great sense of customer service, which we felt from all the staff throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel, and the town of Amasya, as a Turkish destination!
