I stayed for 2 days 1 night with my girlfriend... really enjoyed taking photos of the scenery, coz it s like a heaven on earth there... Staff are really nice too... Everything was so perfect for us. We enjoyed the pool and the beach and went on the island. It s not cheap in price, especially the food, when compared to other filippino resorts but It s really worth it

Recently renovated this place is a piece of heaven on earth! We had a wonderful time on the beach, enjoying the scenery, tropical fruits /juices and the hospitality of the staff! This is a place where you can really rest and relax! My husband and I went with my brother's family and I can't wait to go back to share this experience with my grown kids.

Room Tip: There is plenty to choose from! Just depends on the size of your group and your budget.

Such a nice place to relax. visited for a day tour, price was not so bad. We had a good buffet lunch. Staff were excellent. One thing missing for a day tour visitor, a locker where to keep some personal belongings whilst enjoying the water and relaxing in a very serene place.

I took a Pearl palm Day tour trip.
The boat left Davao City at 8 am and 5pm for Davao City from Samal Isaland, where Pearl Palm Resort is located.
I had snokeling there. It was very good.
The lunch buffet was also good.
I want to stay 1 night at villa next time.

I've always wanted to visit this property. It has a mystical reputation. Its attractive, well laid out and well maintained. BUT its substantially overpriced for rooms and inclusive buffet meals. The buffets were standard, not exceptional, and were a real disappointment. They didn't vary very much. Way below the quality expected for the pricing.

When it was built it must have been unique but today its not.

Staff were excellent. Massages - outstanding and at night awesome and relaxing. It was difficult to visit the island portion.

Music ended too early and limited.

This is not the place you want to visit for 3 night, one overnight is fine

Stayed here in january 2012 with my sister and 2 cousins, we absolutley loved the place. Staff were so friendly and genuine (some resorts you can tell when they're being fake). Had the buffet for dinner and we loved the food! There was a good variety of it. Nice place to come to for a relaxing holiday. Rooms were nice, comfy bed and clean and decent bathroom. Would have liked to have more activities available but if you prefer to just bsun bake by the two big pools, then this is a nice spot for that.

From the marina, we traveled by boat (big one) going to samal island where this resort is. First impression, this resort looks really old from the boat before we docked. We were welcomed with fresh pineapple juice (sweet) and wet towels to ease that lil face grease from the 45 minute ride on the quite rough sea (august weather).

PRICE: too pricey for a day tour (2,500+++ per head) with buffet lunch and boat transfer.

AMENITIES: Very Filipino and Mindanaoish (with gong music background for the feel). The resort is a bit huge to explore.

BEACH: Swimmable but not suitable for sensitive skin. Its itchy and you get to swim along with wrappers and plastics that i mistook as jelly fish. You really need to explore this island resort for you to find a good spot to swim. Sand is off white... finer than the usual. Not an open sea for the beach view

FOOD: Buffet - fusion. If you have been to resort buffets in Palawan, this is no match.

CREW: Very nice peeps and accommodating

ACTIVITIES: Inclusive in the day tour package - fish feeding, eat, swim and chill on both resort islands (you can stay in the pool if you cant take the sea). Add-ons (again too pricey for the beach location), scuba, jet ski and haven't explored others...

OVERALL: average though luxurious (in price), peaceful and quiet. My first time
