For a hotel/resort who is considered to be the best in the area, such a shame and disappointing experience for my friends. When you pay this much you expect your over all experience to be wonderful and relaxing. Turned out the opposite for them, cellphones were stolen, wallets, even down to the papaya soap. Imagine that!

People were inside the room sleeping when this happened. What if something happened much worse than just their valuables being stolen? How can the management pay for that? Seriously get your act together and take action before this gets any worse.

Room Tip: Don't get the hill top room

I visited the place with a friend from the 29th of april till the 2nd of may.... we booked the mandaya house and the room is nice, the shower doesnt have a door and same with the toilet and it kinda bothered me but its kinda relaxing to look at every morning though. Everything in this hotel is overpriced. their buffets and the water sports. People if you wanna swim and do water sports might as well do it in boracay. We went to the smaller island and the beach is stunning but not so good for swimming cause of its rocky and the marine life as well such as sea urchins, sponges and other weird sea creatures. most of the guests here are couples so this place is not really for people who wants to make new friends. Its really boring at night theres not much to do and its one of the reason we checked out a day earlier. the worst part is their infinity pool is under construction and i have to stay its the only thing i was really looking forward when i visited this place. for those who needs to work while on vacation the wifi zone is in their front office./reception, they do not provide internet in rooms even if you pay for it.
all in all my experience in this hotel is very disappointing the only positive thing is that the place is beautiful but i have to say the owner should make more tours or anything where guests can do while staying in this resort. you cant even go for a hike outside the resort.

Room Tip: mandaya cottage is good for couples.

We went there like 5 yrs ago for an overnight experience. The place and location are great except for the food an bev. I was disappointed with our complimentary breakfast . They served us a bread and a 3 kinds of jelly fillings along with the butter and coffee . That's it! The beach is too small for me. I like their spa though. Overall , not satisfied with my stay. Am still considering to comeback soon.

Stayed here last March 2013. Pearl Farm Beach Resort is a luxurious hideaway for those in need of a blissful getaway. It is nestled in the island of Samal and is one of the premier destinations in Davao. We checked in at one of the Samal Houses where you can get a wonderful view of the ocean. They have very well trained staff and everyone is willing to help. There are tons of activities you can choose from. The only problem is that the resort is under construction. You can't use the Pagoda and other areas. The construction will be finished in June of this year. So I recommend you to go here by June.

Room Tip: Tip: If you will be arriving earlier than your check in time, it's best to try out other activities while waiting. Try the Samal Houses for the best view of the ocean

We're Filipinos and we've stayed in Pearl Farm before. While the rooms are still maintained well, we could not understand why their TV is so small! One has to sit in front of the screen to see anything. The food also was disappointing. It was greasy and did not have the former "omph" that they used to have. They also have opened their doors to a lot of day-tripper's which fills-up the restaurants and the pools. The beaches are maintained well, so it was still a joy to go swimming and snorkeling as it remains a fish sanctuary.

Room Tip: If you don't want to do a lot of walking, request a room close to the restaurant where you take your meals, unless you don't mind waiting for the golf cart.
