I stayed here with two friends for two nights and we only wish we had organised to stay for longer. The hostel was lovely, very chilled out and a great sociable atmosphere. The staff was helpful in organising activities and on the arrival we were given lovely fruit and iced tea drinks, very welcome after our 4 hour bus journey from Kuta. Further to this the room was great, a double bed and a single in a separate room area, all with mosquito nets provided, and an ensuite bathroom.

The only potential drawback was the slightly remote location, although we were able to walk to Lovina Beach, the road the hostel is on is not ideal for walking as there is no pavement; as we were not comfortable riding scooters, this left us feeling slightly stranded.

As an extension to this, we booked the Aling Aling waterfall and on the sunset dolphin tours through the hostel. All was well organised and both trips were fantastic, our favourite day in Bali. It is however worth mentioning that although a car came to pick us up for the waterfall, 2 scooters came to collect us for the dolphin tour; we were not warned this would be the case and I know some people may not be wholly comfortable with this.

The staff i really have to mention first! the ladies on reception and in the kitchen where just the best. So friendly and helpful. We wanted for nothing here. We did a cooking course with them and it was so cool. Myself and my partner are big foodies and the course was super fun! We had all the time we wanted!
The small pool was so refreshing, and a perfect place to chill with a beer and meet new people.
Very good B&B

This review is for the owner, Anna, not the B&B as we ended up not staying there. The private room was double-booked when we arrived, so we had the option of staying in a dorm the 1st night then moving to the private room the 2nd night, or stay at her other property, Dream Hill for a private room. We originally booked Santhika for its location, walkable for us to the center of town, however chose Dream Hill for privacy. After a delicious welcome drink, fruit plate, and homemade biscuits, she personally drove us to Dream Hill so we could see the room before deciding if we wanted to stay. She even offered to drive us back and forth to the center of Lovina during our stay. The room was beautiful with an outdoor shower and incredibly creative design and architecture. There was a bar at the very top of the hill with stunning views of Lovina. Anna then let us know that another room option was available for us as she heard back from a family relative about his property for the same price. We moved to Lovina Palace hotel, got our private room, and were in prime central location to walk a couple minutes to the beach and restaurants/bars/live music in the area. She gave us a mini car tour of the town and ensured we were happy with the room before leaving. Received another welcome drink and fruit plate. We loved the location and hotel so much we ended up extending our stay an extra night! 5-star exceptional customer service for Anna! Thank you!

I stayed here because of the yoga and am happy i chose it. This is a very different kind of place to stay, especially compared to places in Kuta and surrounding area, it reminded me more of the peace and serenity of Ubud. Very green and lush all around. The main downside is how noisy it is with dogs and roosters, guests, the owner's crying baby, and some sort of broken generator buzzing intermittently but all the time. It is close to Lovina beach which isn't particularly nice or clean and has many boats parked all along it, but it is quiet. I highly recommend going on the dolphin tour and also to the Gitgit waterfall. The food in the restaurant is very good, reasonably priced, and healthy. The staff are all so kind and caring and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. The spa services are excellent.

Santhika is a beautiful little B&B with lovely staff who remember your name and will do everything they can for you. The place has a calm, beautiful, Balinese feel to it and the grounds are stunning.

Upon arrival we received free fruit, a free drink and a free foot massage!! Our room, which was essentially a gorgeous little private tree house, had comfy beds with drapes and a large fan.

The food on the menu is gorgeous, plus free tea/coffee all day. Breakfast is included and plenty of food provided at breakfast i.e. sandwich toasties, pancakes, smoothies etc. I felt at one with Bali and nature here.

Room tip: Book the Lovina Tour that they offer here- 500,000RP and it includes so much!! We had a private tour guide for the 2 of us.
