Comfortable and spacious accomodation, with personal attention from Carol. A geat place to just chill and relax, fire up the barbie sit outside and watch the Kangaroos and in the evening listen to the many sounds of the forest.
We just wish we had discovered this place earlier, we liked it so much we returned for a second stay...a week after our first !!!

Very comfortable accommodation and having seperate ensuites in our two bedroom cottage was a real treat for two singles travelling together. Seperate lounge and lovely outside areas to sit and admire the garden and wildlife. A potters studio with beautiful unique pieces was an added bonus, as was the wonderful friendliness on initial enquiry to great hospitality throughout our stay.

A quiet serene location with a lovely bushland outlook and beautifully maintained grounds. Cottages are modern, tastefully decorated and very well appointed. The kitchen has everything needed including a dishwasher, large refrigerator, a good selection of Twinings tea and ground coffee with plunger. The bathroom has an extra large shower and a nicely sized spa bath that is ideal for 2 people. Outside, and under cover, is a bbq and day bed for lazing around, reading and generally soaking in the tranquil surrounds. The breakfast hamper that included juice, bread, eggs, butter, milk, cereals etc hit the spot.

The hosts (Carol and Kees) are terrific and bubbly Carol ensured that we were comfortably settled. Nothing was too much of a problem and Carols local knowledge was a boon especially when it came to choosing an excellent restaurant in nearby in picturesque Milton. Only a short drive away are the lovely beaches of Narrawallee and Mollymook.

All in all, we wanted for nothing – except maybe for a few extra days there.

What a delight it was to stay at Milton Country Cottages! Carol and Kees have built this little piece of paradise with their special touch.. Carol 's friendly persona was the perfect greeting at this little haven on the beautiful South Coast. The accommodation was very comfortable, everything you needed was at hand, including jump leads for my old banger which failed to start one morning! But, with Kees help I was on my way again. Kangaroos munching away at the grass at your door, birds of all sorts to keep you company, and the little frogs in the dam, all made this brief stay of mine a lovely memory. The grounds are a delight to wander around, or to sit in and ponder. Both Carol and Kees prove are the perfect hosts, and Kees talents as a potter are more than evident in and around the property. The beautiful hand basins and various works of his own creation, are displayed around the property. I can 't wait to return! Thank you Carol and Kees.

From the first contact with Carol at time of reservation and enquiry phonecall we experienced her friendly and courteous nature - Carol fitted us in at short notice and in school holidays, so this was really appreciated. The Cottage was neatly furnished, with comfortable seating and dining area - cosy fire place setting.. with tools and instructions for the learners.. They have thought of everything - from a travellers point of view - the breakfast gourmet basket was a delight - so fresh and generous servings - nothing was skimped on.- Quality eggs, milk, yoghurt and beautiful bacon rashers too.The shower was soooo roomy and the spa was extra long for stretching out and total relax.. We were too busy to use the outdoor daybed but thought it was great for fresh air and reading/lounging spot - bbq if so desired.
We will definitely return and recommend them without hesitation. From welcoming greeting to the checkout farewell we award 10 out of 10..!!!!

Room Tip: The designed layout of the cottages gives every one privacy...

We enjoyed the welcoming from Carol & Case and when we saw our private spa bath room separte from the cottage we couldn't wait to hop in! Taking two teenage boys with us we all had turns in the spa bath and it felt very private. In the morning I was playing some relaxing music whislt watching the Kangaroos from the spa bath! It was heaven on earth! The cottages are set up perfect, I loved all of the pottery artwork around the gardens and in the cottages. We had complete privacy and I didn't realize another cottage was in use until we left in the morning.Love the breakfast hamper Carol gave us. The fire place was wonderful and kept us warm on a cold & wet winters night.

Thank you for your review. It is particularly pleasing to us that you enjoyed the experience of the garden spa bath - of course the kangaroos were well behaved!.

I can not recommend this place enough - I would give it 6 out of 5 if I could. The accommodation was perfect, with lovely artistic touches (such as the crystaline ceramic bowls), the breakfast hamper was delicious and lasted us for the whole stay, and the gardens were beautiful. The service was phenominal - I've never felt so welcome at a B&B before. I did a session with the potter Kees and learnt more from him in 1 hour than I have in 5 years at my ceramics class, he is an EXCELLENT teacher. I can't wait to go back and stay here again. p.s. this place has fantastic wifi and is very disabled friendly.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great.
