a no frills hotel, but provided the basics for a good nights sleep. The town is small (fantastic to see with its medieval buildings and hill top scenery). The hotel is located right in the centre (as you would expect by its name) It is on a fork in the road which routes the traffic from the alps to nice or into the local shops. the signage isn't clear so there is lots of horns and reversing right outside the hotel. But on a very hot day the room was cool and comfortable to sleep in. You need to have a little french to get by as no-one in the hotel speaks English and you can only pay by cash or euro-chq. Other than the shower didn't have a bracket so had to be held and the breakfast was very basic (lovely patisseier over the road) The hotel did everything it should do. I set off the next morning feeling refreshed.
