Very suitable for travellers looking for cozy and homy stay in Lovina, Bali. The location is a bit far from crowds, good for meditation. Helpful Nyoman, head of villa, and timely strict owner Gus, but overall nice hiding place. I stayed with my family for 5 nights, the kods are happy, playing sand on the beach of its backyard.

Stayed for a few nights on a trip round the whole island. Run by westerners you felt there was a personal touch at this guest house. Sun sets were beautiful and good location for dolphin trips as they leave from the beach In front of the property. Not much else going on in the area itself so don't arrive with great expectations. Food offered here was fresh but not always great. Rooms are spacious but dated. Needs some modernisation . Very homely place where you can relax and get good advice from the owners. Will not be everyones cup of tea- lovina itself as a location has little to offer but we used it as a base to explore in land and mountain regions. The amount of rubbish in the sea and on beaches depressed me to say the least when at home one tries hard to recycle and conserve. Seeing locals chucking out bags of plastic and rubbish on mountain roads shocked me!

Room Tip: Choose a/c room helps combat the mosquitos

After finding Villa Agung on tripadvisor we drove down there and met manager Gus.He showed us around Lovina. The tips from Villa Agung in the books in the rooms where amazing. The dolphins, the snorkeling trips, the massage salon. And the food is amazing too. Sometimes people from other hotels come eating at Villa Agung.

A really nice place, especially considering the price. We loved it. If we ever comeback we would definitely return here if we return to Bali.

Thanks to Gus and the staff for the wonderful time!

I didn't stay at Villa Agung but the restaurant is a standout.

It has a wide range of dishes but best of all they serve Balinese food as well. The chef/s are wonderful, the kitchen in view and spotless, the service fast.

I ate here most lunches and all dinners for 5 days and never finished the vegetarian dishes, each one uniquely tasty, let alone start on the the other sections of the menu.

Room Tip: Although I was happy with my accomodation elsewhere I checked the rooms out but didn't stay. They looked clean and spacious with nice bathrooms.

We loved Villa Agung, beautiful big rooms with beautiful bathrooms. A lot of common place, nice little pool and a big selection of books. Breakfast is great on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Free wifi is available when the neighbours have their system running. Very helpfull in arranging tours around Bali. Far from central Lovina, which is nice because it's not too touristy but there are enough restaurants nearby.
