Our 6 night stay at this hotel recently was at least equal to the best all round experience we have had in Bali during numerous visits.

We booked the presidential suite and were impressed with the size of the room with views to the mountains through one window and to rice paddies and the ocean beyond the balcony. The shower area, where an entire room is devoted to 2 showers in addition to a separate bathroom is something to be experienced.

The room was very clean, bed comfortable and the hotel located in a quiet part of Lovina. The walk down the laneway back to the main part of Lovina takes about 10-15 mins but is a pleasant walk past friendly local and expatriate residents.

The food is of good quality and quite reasonably priced, particularly considering it is net of the usual ++ taxes that apply generally in Indonesia. The restaurant menu is adequate without being outstanding.

Room facilities were very good, with cable tv with many channels, large refrigerator and reliable in room safe.

The service by our 2 lovely girls in the morning was exceptional and to the night staff boys who helped me with my Balinese, it was a pleasure.

We have no hesitation recommending this 6 room hotel for travellers who are lookng for a quiet area, large rooms, reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Booked for 6 days a famuily emergency required me to leave after three. an unrelenting manager insisted on paymnet at 100% for the non stay days - a most unfair policy.. Two other hotels in Bali were camcelled with grace ad sympathy by those managers.

Unfair practices in dealing with taxis and other service providers were also noted.

Far from the action but wth views to the sea over paddi the huge rooms are great for honeymooners who want to lie abed. Food is well presemted and cooked

Tourism services are inadequate. In onc case scuba providers sent were a micro outfit and mot well organised and so potential unsafe and at risk (write is a scuba instructor) There is no shuttle to town and no world cup channel on TV.

Unless you want intimate privacy go elsewhere. IN my stay there was only one other couple at the hotel Brrr!

Dear Guest,
Lets get to the TRUTH.
First of all there was never an emergency on your side, so no reason to cancel your booking with us.
When you left our Hotel you did not leave Bali or Indonesia, you went right away to your next diving spot in Padang Bai ( Hotel Anak Water Hill in Padangbai).
That was reported to us by the Driver! So, please give us one good reason to accept your cancellation.

About our cancellation policy: Its a normal and very common cancellation policy practiced by most of Balinese Hotels and throughout the world.
If you book with us, before you are free to read the cancellation policy and decide if you want book with us or not.
You find our Cancellation Policy on our Webpages!
We do NOT HIDE anything - and as well you remember, you booked over our ONLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM with us and at the last step by booking you have to check the box with the announcment: ---> I acknowledge reading the Cancellation Policy and I understand my credit card will be charged according to the terms stated <-----
If you do not check this box you CANT send the Booking Form and Book with us, so please what is UNFAIR with our cancellation policy?
You agreed !

We been always very polite with you and I guess you forgot to say here that we helped you to get a VISA for Indonesia for your Travelpartner (Girlfriend) from Nigeria.
One day before we had to pick you up from your first stay in a Hotel in North-Bali in Tulamben you gave us by Email a short notice that we should not surprized that you will arrive as a single, your girlfriend had to fly home - You did NOT say there is an emmerceny on your side, otherwise why you even check-in in our Hotel?
You checked in our Hotel and you did not cancel any day - after 3 day in the evening you said to our Staff : You want check out next day because its BORING to stay alone here in LOVINA and you want to move on.
So, this is against our Cancellation Policy and was NEVER an emergency! The first time we heart that you call that an emmercency is here on TripAdvisor. So, what is the truth.
By Check-Out you blackmailed us, if we charge you you will write a very bad REVIEW about us in TripAdvisor!
Here we are - in the CORNER of ANGER !

We do have sometimes emmerceny cancelations and we handel them very fair - you get an receipt for your Travel-Insurance, so you loose nothing, or a Voucher etc. An older man like you, who also said who traveled arround the world shall know that he need in case of emergency an Travel-Insurance and can not blame Hotels for there cancelaltion policy!
So, please dont blame us for your failings!

If all our guests, and dont worry we have quiet a lot, are booking 6 days and check out after 3 days without paying, you should know as an CEO that we will not survive with our Hotel. We have currently only 6 rooms, but we give our best in service and facilities as you also can read all the REVIEWS before you!
We take your Bookings with guests very serious, you shall do the same on the other side when you sign an accommondation-contract with any Hotel, and Booking is a signed contract!

That we do not have the WORLD CUP has a simply reason - nearly no Hotel have it because its to expensive and you cant receive nothing about it over the SAT TV receiver which is installed in all of our rooms with 49 international Channels - also Sportchannels like ESPN and StarSport - but both channels cant provide in Indonesia World Cup. You have to buy for each room an extra receiver for the 4 weeks football and each cost more then USD 200 $ / so I think this might be a bit to expensive. My Staff told you when you checked in we can bring you to our Bar in Center Lovina and there you can see the World Cup.
Yes, we do not have Shuttle Bus here but we bring you the only 1.5 km to Center Lovina by Bike free of charge, so why you did not took this Service? Also our Staff from the Bar will bring you back to Hotel - Thats quiete a nice Service - is'nt it?

And please dont blame us for the Diving Company - its not a Hotel owned Company - its one of a few Diving Agencys here in Lovina which we call if a Guest like to to Diving in Lovina or Menjangan Island. And we didnt charged you, the Diving Company did it directly with you!
And if this Diving Agency was that bad, we ask ourself why you were going 2 days for diving with them?
The same is with the Drivers, you order a transport, we order a Driver for you, thats our service - but Drivers are not belong to Hotel!

We think that explains enough - and any person who read this can make his on picture what is right or wrong!
We still provide to all our Guests an excellent service in our small, but luxury Boutique Hotel.

Anyway, thanks again staying with us and that you a least liked the room and our food.

We stayed here in March but we've only just returned to Uk. We booked over the internet it was a quick booking and weren't sure it would be all it appeared to be. It was, it was wonderful. There are only 7 rooms in the hotel and our room was huge by anyones standard, immaculate and tastefully furnished. If you get a chance stay there. It's off the beaten track, rooms look out over rice fields, mountains and the beach. It is a wonderful setting and a charming hotel with wonderful staff. Worth the trip.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, because I was searching for a nice but still affordable place in Lovina well apart from the hustle and bustle of the south. The hotel has only about 6 rooms, which means it never gets crowded and you may meet other guests only occasionally. Due to the low season it was not fully booked at the time we've been there we were given a free upgrade for the room. Eventually, we stayed in the presidential suite! I've never been in such a big hotel room with such a luxury design before. Even the bathroom was huge and included a separate entirely room with two showers. But as I've seen the standard rooms are also quite big and the design is comparable. Service is a big plus in this hotel as there is almost more stuff than guests. Meals can be taken either downstairs in the restaurant next to the pool or on your private balcony. There's also a big pool to relax in and next to it.

The location of the hotel is also very nice. Its a little way to walk from the main street (just a few minutes), but then you find yourself within a wide area with rice fields. In between lies the hotel. Just a few hundred meters further down the road (bypassing some other buildings and another small hotel) the beach can be easily reached. If you aim at lying on the beach all day, Lovina might be not the right choice for you at all. Its not that kind of beach where one wants to spend the whole day. Nevertheless, from the hotel (and in particular from the room) one can overlook the whole countryside. From the ocean up to the mountains. This was really beautiful and impressive.

As you might have read already, prices in the hotel exceed the Bali average standard, but meals are very good and its still cheap compared to most western standards. Including the service and the fact that you enjoy the amenities of a hotel its worth its money to my opinion. But if you prefer going out and see some nightlife (which was also our choice most of the time), the (so called) center of Lovina is just about 10 min walking distance away. There you will find a wide choice of restaurants with all kinds of food and prices.

If you want to see something and do day trips, you can book this directly at the reception. Like in every hotel you will have to pay a slightly higher fee than going out on the street and hire one of those guys annoying you during the day, but this way I felt a lot more confidence in the organization and driver. You will just be picked up at the hotel in the morning and don't have to think about it. They provide almost everything from temple-tours over diving trips to massages. The staff is very friendly and if there's any question they can't answer, the manager is there in a moment and will help out.

All in all it was the best hotel I've ever stayed in up to now. You really get a lot for your money and I would definitely recommend it.

We had a relaxing time in Lovina and this hotel is in a small road off the main road. Guaranteed quietness every night. The room was clean and I we felt that the property was very well maintained eventhough it was renovated 4 years ago, looked brand new. The ameneties are basic but we always bring our own anyways. The indonesian food was very tasty, recommend the Ikan Pepes (an indonesian fish dish cooked in banana leaves with spices). The dolphins were very entertaining. We didnt expect to see so many, they swam in packs and had their breakfast which was interesting to see this in the wild. Staff were friendly yet professional. We really enjoyed the

Well having noticed there were no reviews of this place we took a risk and booked it as we got a good deal for 72 US dollars a night with breakfast. We booked a standard room and they are massive and about 50 meters square so if you want space you have got it. Very clean and well presented and as we are backpacking this was nice to have so much space. It is set in the middle of the rice paddies and difficult to find but well worth it as it is off the main road so no noise at night or even the day for that matter. The sea is 200m in front of the hotel but it is dark sand here. The tv only has only 2 channels and is mostly on CNN but it is better to go out and explore or watch the rice fields being worked on. The views from all rooms face the fields and sunset and are really well equipped. The only couple of bad things i found was that the food and drink prices at the resort were overpriced which is a shame because the restaurant is very well presented. Still if you have money to burn then go for it as the service and food is very good in general. The wifi is expensive at 35,000 rupiah for an hour and if there are kids there the shouting reverberates everywhere. To sum it up it is in a great location but brilliant views and very well setup but pricing is way too high for food and drinks at the resort. If you venture out you can get very good food and drinks for a third of the price and it is always worth getting a scooter to check out things nearby. (50,000rupiah a day with a little negotiating) The place also has a security guard 24hrs a day but it is not really needed here and a secure parking area for scooters.

Thanks for your review.
Since 3 weeks all our Rooms, Suites have there own Satelite-TV --- in each room is a receiver which you can indivituell use with 49 International Channels like ESPN, Starsports, BBC, CNN, Discovery, Animal Planet, StarMovie, HBO, Cinemax, AFC, FOX and a lot more.

To the prices in our Restaurant : just let me say this: All our food is made by order only FRESH- we do not store any food and service it next day out of Microwaves, all our meat is IMPORTED, so that also comes with the price, this is normal, also in Bali and far away from overpriced - and btw, for our Drinks we also use just only IMPORTED spirits, and what every traveler who comes to Bali shall know - Alcohol prices had an TAX increase of 300% the last 2 years!!! - anyway, like you said, there is plenty of Restaurants around our Hotel with lower price ranges and drinks with local spirit which we do not recommend to our guests.

Thanks again for staying with us.

I found this hotel through the internet and really it was a nice hotel.
Me and my friend stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday at the Lovina as I been to Lovina many time and really I love it !

Bali Paradise hotel is a nice hotel, quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel a has nice pool just in front of the restaurant. I saw there a pool bar but for some reason I never see that bar open during our 2 nites stay there anyway it wasnt an issue as we can order the cocktails from the bar inside the restaurant and it was nice and cheap !
We didnt try the hotel restaurant as we always busy traveling around the Lovina and ate at the difference restaurants every time so I dont have anything to tell about the food quality at this hotel restaurant but the breakfast we had was good.

We stayed at the Deluxe room with the ocean view and was surprising as the room was very big !! in side there were 2 king size beds and sofa set, the room also has big balcony with couple sun lounges. Bathroom also very big separated bath tube and standing shower really really nice and the towels and amenities also good.

The only thing I found that not very convenience was the access to this hotel a bit difficult, we came with our own car and the road to get to the hotel is not very big for 2 cars passing by as left and right side are local people houses and the parking area of this hotel is not big enough, not sure what would happen if they have 4 guests staying with their private car, but over all this hotel is good and recommendable.
