We're staying at Barnham Broom and The Bell was recommended to us in both the guest tips book in our room and the welcome meeting. We have just returned from our meal tonight and it was fantastic.

The homemade soup was delicious and the landlord was very obliging in providing bread and butter for our twins who didnt want to miss out !

Two of us had scampi and two had gammon. Both were delcious. A lovely side salad, not just limp lettuce and a slice of cucumber, freshly cooked peas that were lovely and green (instead of the pale-been-sat-in-the-pot stewed soggy ones we've had at other pubs!). And fab enormous chunky piping hot chips. The kids meals were great too, generous portions and all freshly cooked.

Puddings followed which were steaming hot and absolutely delicious.

Everything on the menu was so resonably priced, we have paid so much more in other pubs and its been nowhere near as nice or as generous in portion size.

Drinks were VERY well priced, unlike the bar we drank in the night before!

Lovely atmosphere too, we were made so welcome and didn't get "the look" from the locals you often get when visiting village pubs!

The children were catered for too with books, toys and games to hand and a miniature cue also materialised as soon as we set up a game of pool !

Finally, not something I'd usually write in a review, but this pub has the cleanest toilets I have ever used. Clean floor, clean tiles, plenty of loo roll, a baby change unit, nappy sacks, hand cream. I was so impressed, I just hand to mention !

Great night out, we will definately be recommending and will certainly return next time we come!

As part of our wedding celebrations we set up a marquee in the pub garden and it turned out to be a perfect location. From the start Steve and Jo worked hard to accommodate our wishes and everything was very well organised. Attention to detail was meticulous. Steve even arranged for extra power sockets to be installed for the evening, as requested by our band. The food was plentiful, tasty and pleasingly displayed and when added to the good value drinks available at the bar, our guests went home having had a very good evening. Thank you Steve, Jo and staff for your hard work.

We were staying at the Barnham Broom Hotel and thought that we would sample the Bell Inn after reading good reviews on Tripadvisor - we were not disappointed!

The menu is not extensive, however there are more than enough choices.
The service was friendly and the selection of beers was good.
The dining area is separated from the main bar and has a cosy country feel.

We both chose the Fillet Steak for the main course and it was truly amazing. Both were cooked exactly how they had been ordered and the accompanying chips and salad were ample and fresh.

I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area, however I would advise booking as they appear to get busy.

We have recently returned from our annual golfing trip to Barnham Broom and visited The Bell a number of times during the week. As in previous years we received a warm welcome from Steve & Jo plus all the locals we met. The food was excellent, very reasonably priced and there is always lots of it. We would definitely recommend you visit if in the area and are already looking forward to next year's trip.

Although we have driven past this pub at least once a week for nearly four years, Sunday was the first time we ventured inside. Big mistake - waiting four years I mean. The welcome was warm, the wine great quality for the price, and the food was delicious. We both had the Lamb Shank served with fresh vegetables, mint sauce and gravy on the side. The portions were very generous, which usually means we forego dessert, but this time we wanted (OK, I wanted) to try their very reasonably priced puds. The Banoffee pie and Apple Crumble were great, and the Bell Inn has definitely been added to our list of 'Must go back there soon.'
