We had stayed at Patuno Resort Wakatobi for 2 nights. The room was big, clean and comfortable and the staffs are helpful. It is only 10 minutes from Matahora airport. The resort has pick - up service. I had snorkeled for 3 times (two times nearby the resort and once at Sombu), the diving master, Pak Amiruddin was really helpful, caring and patient. The underwater scene was awesome, I was truly amazed of the splendor of God's creations, corals, various fishes and plants, wow.... amazing. I will go there again someday.

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortable and quiet even you won't hear any voices.

It was an experience better-than-expected. The view was surreal, the facilities though still limited were accomodating. Services from kitchen staffs, cleaning, to front desk were improving by day. My husband and I had wonderful diving adventures in a private boat as if the whole island was only for us. Friendly staffs without any hidden agenda; services were given through and through with smiles and sincerity with open mindedness to truly improve themselves-What a rare sight! We weren't as mere guests but friends whom were welcomed with warmest of good intention from hearts! Next time, we'll come back and we'll bring the whole family with us!!!

Been to Wakatobi area several times, this is definitely the first time that it's a "complete" package.
Wakatobi as a dive site is to die for, but in the past I had to suffer dirty ho(s)tel or tiny home stays. Patuno Resort really fills in the blank.
Staff was very friendly, language was a bit of an issue, but at least they tried their best. I see that improvements on the long range of planning, so look back to returning there sooner than later!!

Although it is a little difficult to get there, it really worths the effort. It is so relaxing, so peaceful that you really disconnect from the real life. We stayed at a huge deluxe room with sea views. The diving and snorkelling were great (millions of colourful fish, turtles, coral...) and the dive master and guides were very reliable and professional. The staff at the hotel very kind and attentive although they should improve their English to understand when you don't want spicy dishes!!. The food is Indonesian (very good curries and fresh fish) but they also serve delicious spaguetti with bolonese sauce. The beach is white sandy and there's nobody at sight!! Clear, clean and warm water, although I would clean off seaweeds from the sand and fit out a bathing and swim area (I'm not sure if this is possible). The sunset walks in the beach are unforgettable. Like paradise.

We went to Patuno for diving. We were positively surprised with the resort. The accomodation is excellent and the location is espectacular!!!!.
The service is nice and the whole staff were helpful and nice.
The diving was Ok because the season was not the best there, but the diving staff is excellent and tried their very best to please us.
The transfers were perfect and smooth.
Regarding the food, they have are very extensive a la carte menu but I would have preferred a shorter menu or a buffet style dinner.
Overall, we will highly recommend Patuno and we will certainly come back.
