“Super nice owner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Burano while touring Italy. Burano is known for their high quality lace so be sure to purchase something lace related to remember this beautiful italian village. We ate at Trattoria Raspo as a private group. The food was fresh and very tasty. The owner personally made sure everyone was looked after and content. The restaurant's decor is everything Italy and I could have spent days just looking at the ceiling and walls taking in it's uniqueness.

“Good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

The food I ordered was the grilled seafood dish which tastes good. Pizza is a bit oily, but tasty.

Salad comes without any dressing. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil are available on the table, but they do not taste good for me.

The food there was not over-priced and came with good quality.

“Wonderful Burano Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

Impressive lunch stop on our Trafalgar tour. Burano was well worth an excursion for a leisurely stroll along an attractive canal lined with colorful buildings and lace shops. This family-run restaurant had an atmoshpere that was relaxed and friendly. The food was excellent with several courses, large portions and unlimited wine. Not sure about the price since it was included in the tour. The walls were covered with interesting framed artwork that was available for purchase. Rooms are also available but unable to comment on the accomodations. Will return to Burano and Al Raspo (Via Galuppi 560).

“Lunch and fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

Our tour group had a seafood based lunch with lots to eat and drink and a wonderfully warm and funny staff. It isn't a gourmet restaurant but for our group and our tasts we had a big lunch, lots to drink and the feel of being in a really small town restaurant on an island in Venice! We loved it.

Ask for the special coffee.
