“Restaurant for everyone.”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

Food was great. The catch of the day was fried in a light batter served with a large assortment of seafood. The gnocchi with scampi was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The restaurant offers a variety of local wines.

If you are looking for a romantic meal this may not be for you as it attracts families of all sizes and volumes levels as well as the relentless march of tourists who will pass you by. You may need to sit in the building. Try to get a reservation at the top of the restaurant.

“A great discovery out of the blue.”
Reviewed July 20, 2014 via mobile

A day in Burano in the sweltering heat was a tick in the box of my visit to Venice. After wandering up the pretty main street with dodgy looking eating establishments I noticed the Michelin stickers on the window. Our party of 8 were seated inside in the air conditioned pretty restaurant and treated to some great food and wine. If visiting Burano this is the place for lunch.

“Lovely authentic experience ”

As if burano could get any cuter, this adorable, family owned spot was the perfect stop for lunch. Seafood risotto was outstanding, service was great (staffs English was very good) and views couldn't be beat.

“Stunning view and great food”
Reviewed July 7, 2014 via mobile

This charming picturesque restaurant overlooking the canal and colourful houses stands out a mile. The staff are professional and always smiling and the food was fresh and delicious. We ordered prosciutto and melon and the sardines to start and we're pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. We then ordered the fried catch of the day and the spaghetti with clams and enjoyed every mouthful. With a bottle of wine we were happy with the bill as thought it was worth every penny to dine in such a beautiful venue. Thank you and hope we may be able to come back again one day

“Fantastic find!”
Reviewed July 5, 2014

This is a must stop during your visit to Burano. Ferry ride from Venice to spend a few hours one day and we strolled upon this restaurant. Outside seating permitted the view of a lovely, quaint, jem of a city. Service was very good and welcoming. Food was excellent! Fish risotto not to be missed, creamy and delicious, best I have ever had! Fish dishes were well prepared, fresh, and well presented. I will not be surprised to see Burano on the next "must see" list of travelers to Venice. When there, be sure to stop at Riva Rosa!
