We booked the restaurant using their website (very informative) and had confirmation before we left the UK.
Upon early arrival I asked the owner if we might have one of the tables outside. His response was that he would try to assist with request and we got chatting. Before I knew it we were chatting away and myself and the family were offered Prosecco on the house and discussing his lengthy road to owning Al Gatto.
The table was organised and we proceeded to feast upon the various catches of the day and some of the finest pasta, all under the attentive watch of the very helpful staff.
You have to visit here if you are in Venice. The short boat trip will be rewarded with some of the finest food available.
A fine day based around a fine restaurant and a really nice owner.
