This is one of the most fascinating temples in Egypt. It is 2,5h car ride from Luxor and it holds some of the most freak and unexplainable mysteries in the country: the bulbs, the melted stars and some other rare and uncommon hieroglyphs that rise so many unanswered questions. This place is so full of energy! It is really worthy the trip and it can be done as a day trip visit from Luxor.

A fascinating temple - The really well preserved and amazing colours of the original temple scenes and hieroglyphs are a highlight. Walk through and up the stairs to the top. Cleopatra VII is on the outside back wall of the temple.
Some distance north of Luxor so a very quiet temple but a well laid out, for visitors, complex. At it's best when you have a guided tour.

Not crowded. Cost to enter is 100 Egyptian pounds. Huge columns inside. Lots of color. The outside is carved in many different ways. Only known depiction of Cleopatra.

There is not much to write as it all has been written before in the 5 star ratings.
I could only repeat what others wrote.

Let me just show you some of the photographs I have taken, then you decide...
Oh and it's really not crowdy!

We went to the site early in the day and were met with peaceful solitude. Unlike a lot of places in Egypt, it was only us in the site. Really well preserved and great access for visitors to the tunnels and roof. Great addition to our temple itinerary.
