Nice to find a place that isn't either trying to gouge you for every last baht and serves great food with a smile. The waiter/owner Bird works hard, speaks excellent English and listens when you tell him you don't want the spice dumbed down for tourists (I suggest medium thai spicy if you want to try some more authentic Thai food. I lived in Thailand for 2 years and full Thai spicy is for the foolish, the daring and the Thais who are accustomed to it). Tried about 8-9 dishes here and they were all great. The tom yum in the coconut shell was outstanding as was the whole fish, and the pad se ew was excellent.
Looks like a hole in the wall, but wow it was good.
