Me and my husband climbed the mountain to the Railay view point, beautiful, fun and tranquil. I really recommend a visit!

Well worth the climb! We were lead to believe, from other reviews we read, that a short portion of the hike was a rock climb - but in fact this is the majority of the hike! Be prepared and DO NOT WEAR SANDALS! Definitely sneakers, and something you don't mind getting a little muddy. There is a rope to help you along, but it was not necessary for most of the way - but sometimes helpful. I am not normally a climber but found this exciting, enjoyable and difficult but not too scary. The view from the viewpoint, reached after a short flatter walk after the climb, was spectacular - as good as the photos if not better! A great perspective. We thought we might go to Princess Lagoon while up here, however got partway along the track before it got wayyy too steep and dangerous! Would not recommend unless you are a strong climber with experience and proper equipment!

Be careful! This might be very dangerous! Only comfortable shoes and good physical condition. But trail to lagoon too upright - it's a vertical cliff. Didn't take risk to go there, just viewpoint.

For anyone adventurous this is a must. Expect dirt, ropes, jungle. Fun for most ages if active. The way continues to the lagoon but that is much more difficult and should not be attempted unless very fit. Morning and late afternoon are the best times for good pictures.
