The Hotel seems a little remote, however the village and the river are close by. Jean Michel the owner and his wife, Fabienne are really lovely people and do their utmost to help, they also speak good English to. We arrived late due to the weather but Jean Michelle waited there to welcome us Breakfast is buffet style and is very good. The bedrooms are excellent but the bathrooms are like those you would find on a ferry though very clean and well appointed. The air conditioning is a mystery but once you work it out it is very good. There is a small restaurant nearby that serves very good food.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front overlook the main road, rooms to the rear overlook the fields

We planned to visit Verdun on the last day of our tour and decided to stay in Dun sur Meuse. Very easy to find, about 25 minutes outside Verdun. Very welcoming owners, very helpful. Very modern, clean rooms, air con, plenty of plugs, even had 3 way adapters for putting your own appliances, first time this had been supplied. Bathrooms are small, based on the Ibis pod style, very clean. You can hear some traffic noise, but not that prevented a good night's sleep. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Pleasant location near to the river, but just outside the main part of town. Overall a very enjoyable stay

Hotel is clean and quiet. Its about 25 min driving distance from Verdun. In the hotel area there are no supermarkets. Bedroom is small but ok for one night. Bathroom is about 4 sqm ( a bit too compact for european). Staff is friendly and helpful. They offer a normal buffet breakfast.
Plenty of parking space which is for free.

We arrived at the Hotel/B&B and were a little unsure as it seemed a bit remote, however a minutes walk and you were by the river and another minute and you were in the village. Jean Michel the owner and his wife, Fabienne, couldn't have been more helpful, they provided us with details of where to go, what to do with our boys, aged 9 & 11. Breakfast - buffet style was certainly plentiful, the rooms were very clean (we had interconnecting rooms), but the bathrooms were tiny. These are currently being changed room at a time so will be fine by next year. Would recommend the bikes as cycling along the rivers edge was a hit (can be hired for 1 Euro). The air conditioning is definitely needed and once you realise how it works we left it on overnight and were not disturbed by the noise. Plenty of poking available.

when we arrived at the hotel (what is very easy to find.) we had a warm welcome. the owner has been very helpful and has been a terrific good host. Rooms looked ok, but the badroom is so tiny, that it's impossible to fit 2 people in it. the bed is a bid smaller then i'm used too, but for the rest it looked ok...
When we went to sleep we noticed that the temperature was rising quickly in the room, a bid our own mistake because we shut down the airco because it's noisy... we opened the window but then the traffic is so loud it's almost impossible to sleep.
we went there on a friday to saterday night and a lot of young folks are going out then, with the necessary noise of course...

in the morning breakfast is much better then average, good tea fresh orange juice warm croissants better then you would expect....

Room Tip: ask for a room on the backside from the main road...

We stayed the first night in an upstairs room and the only downside was that the toilet-shower room was a bit small, however the morning after we were moved into one of the lodges which was more than ample in size.It had air conditioning,tv,and we could go to the restaurant adjoining at any time for tea coffee etc.The rooms were tidied and beds made every day also clean towels were provided. We would not hesitate to visit again.

Room Tip: Ask for a lodge

Hotel still the same quality. Although we found breakfast a bit less in quantity and quality than last year. The restaurant “Auberge du Lac” was disappointing this time. It seemed that they changed the chef...
