We wanted a place to recuperate from a long flight and the chance to see the famous Sissinghurst gardens. This was perfect. The beautiful Vicorian farmhouse is at once comfortable and elegant and is a delight inside and out.
We arrived mid morning and didn't have our own transport but Sue was so welcoming and charming. She served us tea in the beautiful sitting room and ensured that our room would be available as soon as possible.
We visited the Sissinghurst Castle Gardens only a stone's throw from farmhouse and had a tasty lunch at tthe Granary restaurant just outside. The gardens are by far the best I have seen and the complexity, diversity and beauty is breathtaking. We were able to go back several times over the two days to admire them in different light and still we feel we didn't see everything. A very good reason to return to Sissinghurst Castle Farm B and B again.
All of the rooms have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and there is a great sense of generosity and desire to meet any needs the guest may have. This is reflected in the outstanding breakfast and the local knowledge which guided us to the best places to walk, villages to see and pubs. We felt so much at home here that it was like staying with some friends. This is on my list of all time favorite places and I am already planning to return
