We were recommended this restaurant by friends who stumbled on it while on a wine buying trip in the Elgin area.
The emphasis is on fresh produce from the extensive kitchen garden which is beautifully set out which you are welcome to wander through.
Wines on the table at cellar door price!
Joan first talks you through her menu of the day; there is no printed menu.
We started with grilled figs stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in ham.
A tai chicken curry to follow with a beautiful heat.
Sweet; figs again in a light pavlova.
We visited for a second time yesterday and were equally impressed…large stuffed mushrooms to start; fresh cob with beautifully cooked vegetables rounded off with a Crème brulee.
