My daughter (25), husband and I flew in from Singapore. On the car-trip from the airport we were struck by the poverty visible everywhere, it was almost a shock. But the hotel was very nice (though old, about 20 years, we were told). It had great architecture, very nice and helpful staff and clean rooms, but it lacked of guests. Anyway, we had a pleasant stay of 6 days there, and I can highly recommend it to others! I saw no cockroaches or rats there (which I really hate), just innocent, small lizards and one pretty small varan outside. The staff was exellent, it must be said, polite and helpful. Also exellent food, they had a really good variation of food at all meals, very well presented.

We stayed two nights in three terrace rooms at the end of June 2013 before we continued to Gili. Great location in Senggigi with manicured garden, friendly staff and restaurants/amenities nearby. The rooms were OK but the bathrooms were clearly a bit tired. The obvious magnet of this hotel is absolutely its massive pool. It is really huge and well maintained with somebody regularly clean up the debris throughout the day. Other outdoor facilities are also available such as pingpong table and kayak. The beach which is directly connected to the hotel is a big plus though it is quite busy and a bit dirty due to fisherman boats that in the flip-of-coin also give you a great view especially during sunset. You can borrow kayak from the hotel and have a great paddle around the bay. Our teenage kids have definitely a blast, back of forth between pool and beach and enjoying all outdoor activities. Breakfast is awesome with combination of western and local foods while the view from the restaurant is also breathtaking. Try to get tables closer to the pool and it is easy to pass a couple of hours for breakfast only. Wifi is a bit meh as it is available only around the lobby with lots of mosquitos at night as it is an open area. Overall it was a pleasant stay and looking forward to visiting again.

After a terrible bad experience at Gili Trawangan where money was stole from Gili Exotic Villas, we really needed a nice place for our second leg of our trip in Lombok. We had earlier booked our stay under the Superior room which I didn't expect anything much as it was the basic category and also wasn't looking forward to the lobby only wifi for this room category. We arrived past noon and was checking in and was pleasantly informed that superior room bookings were all upgraded to the Deluxe Suite! That is actually 2 categories up! As I was travelling with a friend, we needed a twin room and was informed that we had to wait for 2 hours for the room which we were fine as we needed to grab lunch and also to make a police report for the money that was stole during our earlier leg of the trip.

The lobby area is very spacious and nice and the whole resort occupies a very large area. The staff are all friendly and we were also given a welcome drink during our check in. The Deluxe Suite is really nice and spacious at 94 square metres with a very nice bathroom with an 'open' shower concept and a bath tub. We had 2 large queen beds in the room that could easily sleep 4 persons. The TV had great channels. The only issues when we got into the room was that there were lots of mosquitoes! We spent quite a while killing them as my friend were already bitten badly before coming into this resort at the earlier leg of the trip in Gili T. We informed the staff who then provided us a big can of insecticide for our use for our stay.

The tv remote also had problems but this was quickly resolved. The resort is in the main strip of Senggigi and outside the resort are lots of cafes and convenience stores if you need to get water and other stuff. There's a great souvenir shop just right beside the resort called Bayan which sells really nice gifts and souvenirs at really cheap prices!

Breakfast buffet isn't fantastic but I would say ok enough with a live eggs station and a small variety of food. The only thing I couldn't bring myself to eat were the fruits section as it wasn't covered and I saw lots of flies on the honeydew. Other than that, the resort is pretty quiet as we were there during Ramadan which explains why it is quieter than usual. It is very peaceful where you can overlook the beach and sea during breakfast. The beach isn't nice as with Senggigi beach but the pool makes up for it as it is a very large pool with a swim up bar that offers happy hour from 2pm onwards. Even when it ends, the staff is flexible to still offer the happy hour. Artha from the bar was very friendly and always smiley.

Another problem with the bath tub in the room was that the water wasn't very clean as I was filling up the tub and saw black remains in the water everytime the hot water was turned on. The toilet has a bidet which is a really nice touch.

Wifi signal was average in room as with the whole of Lombok as we realised in the end but good enough to just surf but not for videos definitely.

We dined at Angel's Cafe, Cafe Terraza (really nice Chicken Talingwan!). Avoid the cafe opposite Bayan at all costs as the juices are concentrated and not freshly squeezed and food was bad. Arirang Massage was good and had affordable prices!

All in all, I would strongly recommend this resort for it's nice pool and if you can do get the Deluxe Suites!

It is located in the heart of Senggigi, so easy to get to restaurants. It is also right on the beach and within walking distance of the jetty for boats to Bali/Gilis. Very quiet atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is very nice with friendly staffs

The hotel has a fantastic massive pool: though it is more like 5 pools linked into one. It is located in the heart of Senggigi so easy to get to restaurants,etc...It is also right on the beach and within walking distance of the jetty for boats to Bali/Gilis.
The breakfast buffet is very nice, the staff friendly.
We stayed in 2 different types of rooms there: the basic double which are rather old and tired. We had 2 twin rooms and one was okayish, the other one was a huge let down, damp patches on walls and floors, bathtub was clean but had lots of marks, etc...
We also stayed in their deluxe suite rooms, which were absolutely lovely: huge bathroom, comfortable and spacious bedroom and a little decking area with sun lounger.
To be completely honest though,Lombok didnt impress me that much and I wouldnt rush to return. The Gilis or Bali has much nicer things on offer.
