We stayed here on the first week of July 2013. Overall it was a good resort with some strong pros and few minor cons ... !!!
The Pros …
Location is simply fantastic. All the 'named' restaurants are within walking distance. We stayed here for 5 nights and we tried 10+ different places within that short time. You can even access some of the restaurants through the beach side as well. Also the Art Market is just next door. It’s a great (and relatively cheap) place for buying trinkets for friends and family back home.
Beach is not great but it’s just besides the pool. So can't complain that much. Do note that the beach is full of broken shells and sea weeds, so remember to bring your wading shoes if you want to go for a dip. The sand was clean … the resort staff did a good job of keeping it spick-and-span.
Breakfast selection was very nice. Try the coconuts … they are huge and sweet!!!
The Cons ...
1. Service is slow at the reception and their English is definitely an issue.
2. The resort is old and shows sign of wear-and-tear. The towels are torn on the sides, the in-room refrigerator is rusty, and the floors are scratched in some places ... Minor things but not what one expects from a Sheraton property.More
