I loved this place. The rooms were big and spacious with comfortable beds. And the setting, in lovely quiet gardens with tall coconut trees and away from the main street, was so nice - so much so I stayed there for three nights, in between climbing Mount Rinjani! It is possible to find places a bit cheaper, and I looked elsewhere, but the setting and rooms were so nice I preferred to spend what was only a little bit extra.
The staff are very friendly and speak good English, and I'd recommend trying the food; the breakfast I had was tastier and less expensive than what I had on the main street.
The only downsides were cold showers (but I had this almost everywhere in Indonesia) and no WiFi. They told me though they're waiting for it to be connected so perhaps it won't be long, besides there are plenty of restaurants in the town with free WiFi so it's not a problem.More
