Our second visit to this wonderful place. Once again, amazing service and food. Great attention to detail, with guests comfort and enjoyment paramount. Walks in the mountains and to the village of Zaros, helped by Manolis's
advice. Lovely swimming pool and restaurant terrace looking out over the beautiful countryside, and the mountain from our balcony. I shall return again!

We stayed at Eleonas during Easter 2014. Our high expectations were met! Nice location, excellent food and service in the restaurant. And Manolis and his staff were all such nice people. There are lots of nice walks in the area and if you have a car it will take you 30-40 minutes to reach lovely beaches. But don't expect to sit on your terrace enjoying the sunset. The sun is behind the mountain.

A lovely spot, great views, loved looking out over the mountains with glass of wine on our terrace. What makes it though is the people, Manolis was extremely helpful, good ideas for walks or visits further afield but never intrusive. The food was tasty and plenty of it with great service from the waitresses, sorry can't recall your names ladies, probably due to the amount of raki you served us!!
We stayed for a week, we stayed in for dinner every evening, there was no need to go elsewhere, good value and nice wine too. We would have happily stayed longer and plan to go back soon.
Thanks Manolis and staff.

Room Tip: Ok there is a slope up to some rooms but views worth it and no rush to get there anyway.

Such a beautiful location and the accommodation was fantastic. Manolis and his staff greet you with such a warm genuine welcome like you are part of their family. The restaurant is very nice excellant food and service and the breakfast buffet caters for everyone, even have a childrens area. Nothing was too much trouble and its easy to see why this is such a popular choice and they are always busy. We only stayed 1 night as was a last minute booking but plan to return for longer with friends.

One of the loveliest holidays I have ever had. The accommodation is impeccable, the location stunning and most of all the welcome is genuine. I would recommend the full board as the food in the taverna is excellent, even for vegetarians, with fantastic service. There is loads to do nearby: mountain walks, stunning beaches and ancient sites. I will definitely be going back to Eleonas and hopefully taking more of my family. My thanks to the staff for looking after us so well.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are up a steep hill so ask for one near the pool if this is a problem.

Just back from a week at Eleonas. It was simply lovely. I was very comfy in my little house and the service was just fabulous. I got some of the best sleep I've had in ages. The views were stunning and weather great for mid november. I would highly revommend it for families And couples. One drawback; the slope to the cottages is quite steep which could be a struggle for say an elderly person. If in doubt ask for one of the closer cottages.

A dozen little cottages hidden in an olive grove, each with their own balcony and fantastic views of the mountains. We came here expecting self-catering – as it turned out, although there is a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, it’s not really suitable for proper cooking. The owners did very kindly lend us a pan on the first night so we could make pasta though. This, along with the bottle of wine and bowl of fresh fruit left out for us, made for a very nice welcome.

The food in the restaurant is fantastic, exceptionally good value, and the staff are both totally professional and incredibly friendly. With every meal, we were given a free starter of bread and home-grown olives, and a free desert of cakes, raki and fresh fruit.

You could stay at Eleanos without a car and spend your time at the pool (slightly chilly in October), the little outdoor fitness area or on walks around the olive grove and the stunning gorge nearby. For anything more though, you definitely need a car! It’s easy enough driving distance to Phaestos, Gortys and various beaches including the stunning Dragon Beach. That being said, you could just stay in the lovely cottage – the beds are comfy, the shower’s brilliant and there are sunloungers and deckchairs for sunbathing.
