We were warmly welcomed. Service was friendly and attentive but relaxed. Atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. Food was delicious and portions sized to allow one to enjoy two or three courses. Recommended!

“Great food and a beautiful restaurant.”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

This was not our first visit to the Brandysnap and Adam recognised us from our last visit, although it was a couple of years ago now. The restaurant is intimate and personal, very welcoming with an excellent atmosphere. The is food is even better, created superbly by Claire. This restaurant is one of my favourites in the UK I would like to visit more often, but as I live in Kent it is a bit difficult. If you go try the double baked cheese souffle as a starter, sublime.

“Pricey, but worth it for experiencer”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

There were six of us, and with three diners already in the bar, it wasn't going to be comfortable viewing the menu there. This was quickly recognised and we were shown through to our table overlooking the garden area. It was one of two tables in this area, the other unoccupied, so we had our own dining room.
The menu should please anyone, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food superb. The wine list is fairly extensive and the white we had was well chilled.
You pay a premium for this fine restaurant in a small rural town.
