A quiet and clean sea beach with a moderately sized overall crowd.
One can visit Mandermani for a relaxing weekend, with ample hotels/ resorts.

The beach is enormous. There are water sports facility here including ATV ride, jet boat ride, Speedboats, parasailing for an additional fee. You can also enjoy pony ride and mini car ride for kids. Watch out for crabs as there are tons of them. The waves are not pretty high so you have a very relaxing time here.

This is quite frequented beach by locals of West Bengal. Not yet popular nationally not to speak of internalization. The beach is yet to be developed. Some beach sports are Available but they are not government recognised and therefore the safety and security of those sports are not known. A small market in the surrounding mostly selling products made out of sea shells and Wooden materials as a memento of the place. A nice week end destination. You can try out crab, prawn, pomfret as common sea food. You don’t get 5 star but ok - kind of hotels. People with 5 star expectation have to settle for a compromise. You can have nice time in the water but generally not to venture in a depth over the waist level in the water.

As cyclone turned to depression and forecast today saying cloudy weather ,we started at 6 am at New digha to reach mandarmani Beach. Journey is about 35 km from New digha by taxi and took nearly one hour to reach. After we started our journey heavy rain started but we took little risk and very enthusiastic to visit the beach. Very calm and beautiful beach with peaceful atmosphere. We loved and enjoyed for about an hour in watching and playing with water. Due to cyclone and depression there were restrictions, still we enjoyed. Neat and clean small food outlets are there to fulfill hungry.

We had very good trip at Mandarmani. Usually this place is not very much crowded during weekdays. But during weekends, this place become fully crowded. You can have a long walk at the sea beach for long distance. You can see the red carbs also on the sea beach. The sea is very calm here.

A nice calm place near to the crowded metro, Kolkata. A perfect weekend runaway close to pure nature.

Clean, hawker free beach to enjoy with family and friends. Spectacular sunrise to mark beginning of a relaxing and enjoying day far from regular workloads. Rest of the one can simply go back to the childhood, playing with the tides and enjoying good food at local hotels, specially fresh catch fish.

Sonar Tari is one of the small resorts, which provides cosy living, good food. Helpful staffs will definitely make the stay with ultimate comfort and homely feeling.

And finally a gorgeous sunset to end the day and leave one thinking for scheduling the next trip.

Whenever we spoke of beaches in West Bengal, the first thing that came to mind was Digha. There weren't many beaches as beautiful and well maintained as Digha. Thanks to the initiatives by our tourism department, things have changed for the better. Manadarmani is now considered to be a more popular weekend destination than Digha due to its clean beaches and tight securities.
The beach is stretched wide and is less crowded. Civic volunteers ensure that one doesn't dump waste in the waters and coastal guards do not allow you to enter deep. With the growth of tourism, the number of hotels have increased. This offers more choice to tourist. There are many shacks and temporary vendors who make their living selling coconut water, tea, snacks and plastic balls. Overall its a perfect place to relax for a day or two.
Please stay away from any kind of water sports that are sometimes illegally conducted in this beach. None of the activities are government approved and as a result, you will be risking your lives.

We had enjoyed our stay in Mandarmani. We had been booked at Dream Hu Resorts and found the place very good. It was just beside the sea. Food was also superb
