I was many times in this restaurant, the owner is friendly and the food is good now. Sherma (the boss) said me that he changed the cooker one month ago because of complains of customer.
Try the mutton korma, very nice !
4 lassi to drink with your dinner...
Sure I will go again !
And free WIFI soon.

The first time I ate there last year it was not very good (I worked in India for 3 years). I gave it a try again last month and it was better. Not great, just average. I can't remember what I had either time (not a good sign) but give it a try more than once. It stays open till 10 pm.

I have eaten a lot of curry in my time in various countries around the world and thought that if I could see an Indian owner/manager and an Indian waiter I must be onto a good thing. How wrong could I have been? Alarm bells should have rung when the waiter didn't seem to know his menu.

We order pakora to share, chicken jalfrezi with yellow rice, a Khmer chicken curry and garlic naan. The pakora was not pakora - it was more like tempura; the spicy jalfrezi was anything but spicy and was more like salty gravy; the Khmer curry wasn't Khmer - it was distinctly (salty) Indian. The salt content of each dish was so high that we couldn't taste anything else. The only thing I can think is that when generator ran out of diesel (there was a power outage during our time there), the chef stayed with the salt pot over my dish.

The only plus side was that the owner realised we hadn't eaten much of our pakora so asked us about it and refunded us the cost of the dish when we told him that we didn't eat it because it was salty.

I would not visit this curry house again - and I'm a curryholic. In hindsight, we should have encouraged the manager to taste our dishes so that he could understand just how wrong this meal went. No Indian person would ever willingly permit food of this quality to be served to paying customers.
