Stayed with parents and my own children for a week. The town is lovely and the site was perfect for seeing much of Northern France and even into Belgium. Accommodation is huge and clean and the games room kept the children busy all week. Absolutely lovely beds and a really comfy stay. Would totally recommend!!
Communication to book the holiday was first-class, easy and issue free.
On arrival we were met by the owner Francoise who couldn't have been more helpful.
The house is large, light, very well equipped, on the edge of a well facilitated small town and brilliantly positioned to reach the coast, the Somme battlefields, Belgium or just local spots within 90 minutes or less.
We were a party of six with three teenagers who used the large games room a lot.
Fully recommend the house for probably up to ten or eleven people for a week or more.
Would definitely return
The owner responded to emails and sms queries very quickly before and during the stay and she was very helpful. The house was large enough for the children to have their own space, separate from the adults. The highlights were meal times (late brunches and dinners) around the long table that could sit all of us. The villagers were also very friendly: we even had a special seance just for us at the local "science museum" that the kids loved, priceless... When the weather was awful, wifi came in handy; It was disappointing however that the monopoly and other games were only suitable for very young children.
