Excellent hotel in fabulous location, great pool and view of the Chateau.

I have Coeliac disease and can’t eat wheat, we let the front desk know and woke up to a choice of three loaves of gluten free bread.

Excellent service and would definitely come back again.

We booked 2 night's into this hotel, and left after 1, and would left straight away had it not been 7pm when we'd arrived.
Our room was in the annex building through pitch dark corridors, the room was very small with a large wardrobe taking up a good part of it. The bed was tiny & the mattress poor, but sheets were clean.
The bathroom dated from the 1970's, although everything worked. It was also 32C and the room had no AC.
Highlights of the hotel is certainly the outside area's, the pool, the terrace & approach through big gates & cobbled drive. The breakfast was also good.

We stayed 1 night while in the area, young lady on reception quickly showed us to the room very friendly.
As mentioned by others the room we were allocated was a little dated and could do with a makeover which I'm sure is happening slowly as other parts of the building are decorated differently and work has been going on in other areas to update.
Good value for money and the pool was an added bonus which we briefly used and nice outside area for seating. Great views of the Chateau.
The breakfast was 10 euros extra and was well worth it very good assortment of drinks and continental buffet which was enjoyed on the patio as the weather was fantastic.
Good location, very helpful and freindly staff would stay again if in area.

Beautifully situated hotel with views of the chateaux. Nice village above peaceful river. We had a little bother when we arrived to check in because the lady at reception was unable to find our booking on the system. Fortunately she was rescued by another member of staff who was more polite and helpful and who eventually found our details. Our room was a good size, very clean and with great views out onto the chateaux and swimming pool. The atmosphere in this hotel is relaxed and it was lovely sitting on the terrace (spectacular roses) to enjoy the evening sunset. WiFi connection was a bit iffy.
We ate out at a nearby pizza restaurant which was located in a prime position but the meal was extremely disappointing and of poor quality.
Breakfast was good - on the terrace. Highly recommend this hotel.

Ideally situated to explore the Loire. Welcoming reception, helpful staff, good breakfast, secure car park. Chateau adjacent looked interesting although it could only be seen with a guide, not possible to go round on your own. Good restaurants nearby. Room I had on the second floor however was disappointing. Cramped bathroom, a duct of some kind in one corner of the bedroom which had a vent into the room so you could hear conversations and smells of baking croissants in the morning - didn't need to set an alarm! Walls of the room slope inwards so sitting up in bed trying to read was a bit tricky. Avoid room 240.

Room tip: Avoid room 240
