We stayed here while visiting the West Sussex area, using Tesco vouchers, and this was the most convenient location available. Overall happy with and enjoyed the stay, provided allowances are made for a few things.
The hotel is in a slightly faded part of Bognor and near the huge Butlins site. This had no impact on our stay apart from making the promenade walk a little austere in that direction due to the boundary fencing. Its quite a walk into the main town.
The Beachcroft faces directly on to the promenade and a shingle/sand beach, which is a delightful outlook on a bright sunny morning. Its a very quiet spot and a short walk to a couple of pubs, one of which (The Fox) is perfectly ok for a quick meal and decent beer.
The rooms are reminiscent of an early 1970s guest house, with a quite old fashioned feeling. We stayed in two rooms (one superior) and both had slightly mould-stained bathrooms that could do with an overhaul. The rooms were however clean and well-looked after.
The inclusive breakfast was very well presented and the staff are in all respects excellent, nothing was too much trouble.More
