Point Michaud Beach House

Thanks for a fantastic stay at the beach house.
We enjoyed everything, from the beach to the island kayaking in front!
The place is perfect for either relaxing with a book, walking on the beach or going for a sea kayaking adventure.
We brought our own kayaks, which allowed us to visit the nearby islands, filled with wild flowers, seal, and birds. We even saw an eagle!
We also had a fantastic meal with fresh lobster bought at the nearby harbour.
Del is a fantastic hostess. The facilities are perfect, with the cooking shed and all.

An absolutely magical place.
Great views, nicely decorated, all the little things are thought of.
We spent a wonderful afternoon, evening and morning walking the beaches and listening to the surf.
Also no cell service or TV, such peace ......
Top 3 of all of the places we have travelled and that includes Europe.

We loved it and will be back !!

Room Tip: Both rooms are identical , you can't go wrong.

Amazing piece of heaven not too far from everyday life! We shared a memorable family Christmas in this cozy beach house and can not wait for our next stay!

The room was extremely clean, neat, simple and organized. Everything you could ever want or need is available as well as the host herself! She made us feel comfortable, welcome and offered anything to help make our stay perfect!
The kitchenette was well stocked with every dish and utensil you could ever imagine, and the cook shed was clean and organized. Cooking, eating and doing dishes did not seem like a chore in this place at all!

The view is amazing, nothing beats sleeping to the sound of the ocean. I would recommend this place for all 4 seasons, as each season has something amazing to offer.

The only complaint I can even consider making about this place is that there was no snow for Christmas...

If you're looking for beauty and peace this is the place. It's on the beach, 10 miles form the nearest real town, and beautifully perched for a magnificent view. Sleep to the sound of the waves, cook on a great gas grill in a separate cook shed, and don't miss the stars at night. If you're looking to stay connected via cell phone and internet this is not your place. If you want to leave all that behind it can't be beat. The visitor's center 10 miles away has free wifi, and there's decent cell phone reception as well in case you're in communication withdrawal! But forget all that and spend your days wandering on miles of pristine beach and reading all those books you've been holding on to.
