I've been to Toast by the Cost quite a few times over the years. Good to visit it now that the pedestrianisation of East Street has been completed. On a warm sunny day, it's just the spot to sit outside and enjoy a drink sand snack.
I had cycled down from Horsham so was ready for a drink and a bite to eat. Inside is charming with pine tables, chairs and a sofa. But with the sunny weather it had to be outside. Service is prompt and with a smile, An excellent choice of drinks snacks, sandwiches and cakes. The cafe is clean and tidy, and that includes the loos too!
It's very popular at this time of year. I was there at 10 o'clock and it was nearly full!
Overall, a great place to stop for refreshment and watch the world - well Shoreham anyway - go by!
