Description: One of the highest rated Restaurants by our customers on TripAdvisor in West Sussex. Consistently ranked at number one in Shoreham by Sea. We are a small family run restaurant just a few hundred yards from both the unspoilt Shoreham Beach and the River Adur. Just a west of Brighton we source the very finest local Seafood. With Steaks, and vegetarian food for the non fish eaters. Popular menu options include our Seafood Platter, Fruit de Mer, local lobster,& Surf and Turf. We recommend our specials board with an exciting fusion of flavours offering the seasonal catch of Monk Fish, Skate, Halibut, just to mention a few. Mid week we offer a special two course mid week menu. Relaxed an informal but with exceptional high end food !!!

This is indeed very good food. But if they are going to charge these prices then they have to sharpen their act up a bit. Our waitress, though good fun, teetered on the over familiar. That's not me being a crashing old snob but we weren't meant to be all pals together. My main gripe is that the food is served too quickly. We'd barely got our coats off before the starters were in front of us and we had to ask for some time between coarses after that. There is a marginal feeling of being hustled. I know nothing about the people in charge but it's just a teensy bit amateurish. Food's fab though.

... actually I did not have plaice, but could not resist the pun! The food here is unexpectedly good for a place that looks so unassuming from the outside. The specials board included scallops, tempura prawns, gurnard, john dory, crispy sea bass, crab - and the regular menu includes lobster, fish & chips, boulbaisse, squid - and non-fish dishes include steaks and other treats. They know how to cook fish here and they serve it with style. Friendly, unpretentious and airy (like a beachside restaurant you might find at a mediterranean resort) - it fills-up with regulars, business people and foodies from afar even on a weekday lunchtime. Shoreham Beach has a great (unspoiled & peaceful) beach and is probably a good place to have a beachside house, otherwise little reason to visit. Into the Blue gives a good reason to visit.

This was not our first visit, infact it was our fourth. We were a table of nine . We had choosen to go to into the blue as the food is very good. We feel on this occasion the customer service was completely lacking. our Bill came to almost £250 and it seemed as soon as the money was put on the table we were surplus to requirements as we were asked to leave; the table had been booked by another party. Even our children could not believe how bad we were treated. This has put us off going back

After a very good first experience at this restaurant, decided to go again with our two boys. Couldn't fault the food or service. My boys said it was the nicest fish and chips they'd had and they are serious connoisseurs of the dish. I loved the crispy sea bass and my husband had the gurnard and prawns which he very much enjoyed. Can't wait to visit again!

I've been here four times now and consistently excellent food, wine & service. They've got the recipe down to a T! Lovely sunny spot. Going back again tonight.
