Description: One of the highest rated Restaurants by our customers on TripAdvisor in West Sussex. Consistently ranked at number one in Shoreham by Sea. We are a small family run restaurant just a few hundred yards from both the unspoilt Shoreham Beach and the River Adur. Just a west of Brighton we source the very finest local Seafood. With Steaks, and vegetarian food for the non fish eaters. Popular menu options include our Seafood Platter, Fruit de Mer, local lobster,& Surf and Turf. We recommend our specials board with an exciting fusion of flavours offering the seasonal catch of Monk Fish, Skate, Halibut, just to mention a few. Mid week we offer a special two course mid week menu. Relaxed an informal but with exceptional high end food !!!

I've been here four times now and consistently excellent food, wine & service. They've got the recipe down to a T! Lovely sunny spot. Going back again tonight.

Fantastic lunch yet again. Been going here at least once a week since last September and never had a meal that was less than superb.

This restaurant is local to us and I went here with my husband to celebrate my birthday this week.
As usual we had a warm welcome and the service was excellent. I had the king prawn tempura to start and hubby the cajun crayfish cakes with a tasty homemade salsa - all superb. My main was the fillet steak, lovely lightly battered onion rings, fabulous chunky chips and tasty mushroom - faultless, it was all cooked to perfection. Hubby had a main from the specials board - Gurnard served with huge prawns, salad and chips which he said was fabulous. No room for desserts this time but they have always been lovely in the past.
We will be back!

It's just not what you expect to find in an unremarkable parade of downbeat shops in Shoreham Beach! The world and the food within are more reminiscent of somewhere in the Med. Menu is rich and varied: we were four people for Sunday lunch and for starters we chose Soft Shell Crab, Sussex Smokie, and massive Tempura king prawns. All were beautifully presented and decent sized. They do a brilliant Sunday special fish grill for £13.95, which two of us chose - two types of grilled fish, this week gurnard and sea bream - which came with some fantastic veg, including celeriac mash, spinach and roasted sweet potato. The moules mariniere were excellent and copious. Puddings, which at first we didn't think we could manage, are just as good as the previous courses: exquisite panna cotta, but the best I think is the Lemon Trio, which has a lemon posset, a lemon sponge with lemon cream, and a lemon meringue pie - just right for sharing in fact. This was our second visit - If you haven't been yet, then do: we come down from Surrey, but even a trip from further afield would be worth it!
