We always go here when we want something a bit special and tasty. The specials are varied and interesting but it's the steaks you come here for -I nearly always have the surf and turf. The service is excellent unless they get very busy - suggest you go when it is quieter and definitely book for weekends.

Lunch on Easter Sunday - nice venue, thankfully background music was just that, so we could hear ourselves talk, about 80% full. Large menu, prices on the highish side, onion soup ordered specifically without croutons and cheese but delivered with so had to be replaced and this slowed down the already slow service (a lengthy 40 minutes for the starter to arrive, 30 for the main and another wait for dessert), Two us had the saltimbocca which we was disappointing.
However the star of this restaurant is undoubtedly Agnes, who is witty, charming, enthusiastic and very professional.

Food was of a very good standard. We were a party of 7 and all enjoyed the food which was of a good modern European standard. Only two downsides was that our table was right by the kitchen door and the stairs to the loos which was not perfect. Other gripe was that we initially had a really lovely waitress who was very attentive and couldn't have been more helpful but when she went on her lunch break and later finnished her shift, the service ground to a halt. As a result, we were there for over two and a half hours.

We loved the food here and came for a special occasion. The bill however was a shock as it said 20% service chanrge which we thought was outragous. We have not been back for this reason.

Had a great meal with my friends celebrating a couple of our birthdays. As ever the food was delicious, well presented and not overpriced. Always a good place to eat.
