We were in a group of 12 adults and 4 children (4-10yrs) sharing three of the six cottages. The cottages were very spacious and comfortable to live in. They were well equiped, although 2 kettles and 2 toasters broke during the visit. Some parts of the cottages had seen better days and needed fixing such as the toilet and door locks. We opted to employ a cleaner which meant we had more time to enjoy the holiday. There were plenty of things to keep both adults and children occupied within walking distance. Activities included whale/dolphin watching from the verander of the cottages, star gazing at night, purchasing locally caught crayfish from the locals who walked by the cottages every day, rock pool hunting, playing on the sandy beach, watching the colourful butterflies and birds. One of the cottages even had its own resident tortoise!!! Further out (10minutes in the car) Casa Barry offered another sandy beach with various water activities. These included diving/snorkling trips, surfing and a water safari. It also a daily market for those that enjoy bartering for the odd bargain. We visited the Casa Barry Beach Lodge and Tofo Tofo restaurants which both provided a large choice of tasty food at very reasonable prices. Note the service can be very slow so buy two beers at a time!!!
Overall a very relaxing holiday.
