After touring through busy Sayulita we arrived in San Pancho and discovered Cecilia and her Cafe Arte. She is a charming hostess who served us a delicious lunch. Her husband is an incredible artist so we were entertained, wined and dined surrounded by his amazing work. Thanks so much!

Thank Jean A

Thank you Cafe Arte for a fabulous lunch! It was nice to take a drive from Punta Mita, grab coffee’s in Sayulita, swim, surf, and then go up to San Franciso for the afternoon (what a cute little town). Café Arte offered amazing lunch options, and we enjoyed relaxing on the sidewalk late afternoon. We stayed so long we also ordered dessert. YUM.

We go about 30 minutes just to sit and have a cold beer and wonderful food! My husband says it's the best pasta he's ever had. We enjoy the owners, the food and the atmosphere..

We celebrated a 50th birthday of a friend with a paella dinner prepared and served by the engaging, talented and quirky owners at the Cafe Arte. Everything from the freshly baked bread to the complex and tasty paella was terrific. It was a great evening, in the perfect setting. This is our second visit to San Panco and our second visit to Cafe Arte'. And the quality, fun, and flavor of Cafe Arte' is still as good as ever.

We attended the San Pancho Music Festival last evening. After the festival we were looking for a cold drink and small meal. The Cafe Arte was suggested to us by a friend. The friend however is now sorry she suggested this restaurant to us. The owner who was also the waiter was disinterested in taking our drink orders or our food orders. He finally took our orders but then never followed through with them. Instead he talked on his cell phone and listened to the musician playing in the restaurant. We finally had to go to the bar and he got our drinks and then we re-ordered our meals. When my wine was poured there was a small amount left in the bottle. Instead of just pouring it in my glass he said it was for him. Yes, he was a drunk. But not a very pleasant drunk. When our meals starting arriving they were all mixed up. Part of the problem with the owner/waiter was he didn't want to speak English to us but was fluent in a few languages. We also had Spanish and French speaking friends with us but when you are out for a social evening you don't always want to call on your friends to translate everything. So, with the mix up on the meals he argued with us, rolled his eyes and became rude and belligerent. So we just cancelled the remaining meals and ate what we had and tried to leave quickly. Well when we went to the till to pay he charged us triple for what we ordered. Accused us of lying to him. I finally wrote my own bill and gave it to him. More verbal abuse from him. He finally got the bill close to right. We paid and left. If we would not have been a party of eleven I would have left sooner. I can't recommend this restaurant.
