Excellent service and the food was spectacular. Order whatever they tell you to!! They know what they are doing. Wine list is great.

Refined cuisine in a beautiful setting ... we went at lunchtime and in summer time, I would recommend to visit this place in the evening. The staff were very friendly and attentive and even made it possible for us to have "lunch" at 2.30 pm ... The menu card is limited but fresh and original.

This is probably a place to visit in the summer as the setting is superb looking over the Barolo hillsides. The atmosphere inside is pleasant and homely but doesn't stand out. The service was top class as were some of the dishes particularly the fish baked in salt but some were ordinary e.g. Bavarian pepperone. As a location for lunch in warmer weather it would be hard to beat

While having our apero before lunch on the terrace of the Restaurant Il Vigneto, I suddenly noticed a Bee-eater flying past. These beautiful birds are not very common in Europe, but usually live in colonies. Sure enough we then spotted a group of about 30 flying round the vineyards and settling from time to time on posts or wires allowing themselves to be photoed.

The Restaurant itself is very pleasant, with excellent service. The menu was limited but sufficient for our 2 night stay, plus 1 lunch. The wine list is extensive and the local Piedmont wines are well represented.

The ambience created by the views from the terrace on a sunny spring or summer alone merit a visit.

Bird watchers will be aware that Bee Eaters are migratory, and probably only there in the summer, but a phone call could help to check out the situation before making a reservation?

The B&B we stayed in La Morra (Timeless) is managed by the Two brothers that run this restaurant and Rooms. You have to drive there but the food was very good and the setting was lovely.
