“the best beach in the area Agii Apostoli”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

We visited 3 beaches that are close to each other and we liked Iguana beach a lot. The price for beds are 50 eurocents higher but the beach is more beautiful and clean. There is free wi-fi, very clean and interesting WC, games. It was really unusual for the beach!

“Great Beach”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

The beach was spotless clean there was a bar selling drinks and food, also a lifeguard on duty, toilets, a first aid tent there was also books, magazines and games available to use if you wanted. The couple who ran the beach were there all day keeping there eye on everything and when someone left the beach beds they would come and clean up the area around them. The sea was easy to get in and out of. Overall a lovely beach.

“Great Beach & Great Ideas”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

We visited this beach following my pre-trip research. If you are not staying area you can catch the bus from the square where most of the taxis wait (1866 square I think it’s called). As with all the buses the tickets are cheaper purchased from the kiosks or machines rather than on the bus. It’s 1.10 Euros to this beach.
It’s soft sand gently sloping into the warm water so ideal for children. Two sunbeds, a brolly and a table are 7.50 Euros which is great value when you consider what else is on offer. There’s free snorkelling gear, inflatables, board games, bats & balls, books, magazines and more – what a great idea and all kept tidy in colour coordinated Mexican style storage units.

The beach is kept clean and tidy by a small team patrolling up and down and there’s a very clean toilet, changing cubicles and showers – all free as well. There’s also a nice snack bar making fresh sandwiches and other food.
Ideal for families who don’t want to purchase all the things kids want to play with or perhaps cart them about.
