We travelled to Porto Sani Village in May and this is exactly what we have been looking for, for the last 5 years since having our 2 children (5 and 2). The 'Sani' experience offers a 5 star relaxing and fun holiday for both parents and children. We stayed in a 2 bedroom spacious family suite which was of an excellent standard with blackout blinds to keep the little ones a sleep in the morning.

The pool area was safe, clean and the sun beds were very comfortable. The children loved the choice of pools especially the large shallow one where they could play with their toys.

The variety of the dine around was a great help so you could decide whether to have lunch or dinner at the hotel or most of the other restaurants around the resort. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent with the added bonus of a supervised children's area where they could go off and play whilst you finished your dinner.

It was truly refreshing to visit a hotel where the Manger and his team really want you to have a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Thank you to you all.

Would we recommend Sani and Return? - Absolutely I can't wai!

We visited Porto SANI Village for the 6th year running and it did not disappoint. The hospitality was second to none, on our arrival as always we were greeted by the hotel manager Athanasios and Christina with a very warm welcome.

Our newly refurbished room was was ready as soon as we arrived with all the little luxuries in the room.

All the staff were excellent making sure that you wanted for nothing making sure that our 6 year old was happy!

There are three new restaurants to enjoy, which we did and were not disappointed.

As we have always been impressed with Porto Sani we will be visiting Sani's all inclusive resort at Oceania in August and am looking forward to this. We also plan to visit Porto SANI whilst we are there.

Would recommend this to either couples (as there is an adult only pool and bar) and families alike as nothing is too much trouble.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent, first class quality

Without doubt a quality resort however a few niggles.............

Mineral water - 750ml bottle of San Pellegrino charged at average of 7 euros, average price of a bottle of (good) Greek wine 40 euros, standard bottle of Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc 58 euros (in the UK this is £no more than £10 in Majestic), 5.50 euros for a cappuccino, milk shake for the kids 8 euros each. These prices are making London West End restuarants look cheap.

The swimming pools are beautiful but alas were not heated when we stayed in the last week of May.

This is really a very family orientated resort - the central pool complex was very noisey - full of many children having a great time.

The choice of restaurants is good but you do need to book ahead of travelling or you might be disappointed. The prices in the restaurants are high also, 16 euros for a pizza/30 to 40 euros for a simple steak.

Service is great - most of the staff are eastern european and very attentive.

Rooms are well appointed and well serviced. Sheets changed every day, turn down each evening, complimentary 2 x 500ml mineral water + chocolates each evening.

Definitely a resort for families with young children (under 10)..

We've just come back from 10 days at Sani and literally can't wait to get back there. It's the second year we've been and can't speak highly enough of the place.
Good points
The hotel is fantastic great room great pool great beach amazing staff and the food is out of this world.
The only negatives I can think of is its definitely geared towards families with young kids probaly 10 and under as there's not much to do for older children. The other slight negative is the prices of drinks although I suppose if you go to a place of this quality maybe that's expected but 8 euros for a beer or 5 euros for a bottle of water round the pool is a little excessive IMO.
All in all a great holiday as we booked quite late direct on their website and got a free halfboard upgrade which saved us about £1000. So it's worth checking their site out as they do have pretty good deals.

Went with my wife and two boys. (5 and 4). Best holiday we've been on, simple.
Location is amazing, perfect setting and resort is wonderfully thought out. Golf buggies to get around and a shuttle bus every 20 mins but everything is within 10 mins walking distance of PSV.

Rooms were spacious and very clean, pools were fab for kids and adults (is an adult only pool area aswell) and private beach great. Food was immense, breakfast especially. Great staff everywhere, always laughing and joking with the kids. Greeted on arrival by hotel manager, little touches like that make this place a class above. The key with Sani is that they aren't prepared to cut corners like a lot of places do. Everything is thought out from a customer perspective and you can see that. All restaurants cater for the kiddies with simple menu choices in addition to the main ones.

Special mention to Kostas who was behind the bar, lovely guy and gave me a couple of local drinks to taste of an evening after dinner!!

Yes its a bit pricey in terms of food and drink but you aren't in some 3 star run of the mill hotel. I could not find fault in anything at all and you do get what you pay for.

Without doubt booking it next year......

Room Tip: as mentioned the dine around. Book a couple of days in advance as it does get booked up quickly and...

Being a family of 5 with young children we wanted to have a holiday where we could all get to relax this year and put a lot of time and savings into choosing this hotel.

First impressions were amazing, we had a family 2 bed room (403) which was just what we expected and amazing, although our garden backed onto a noisy road which ruined the peace and quiet the hotel carries.
Food was great in the main restaurant and staff were very helpful. The main hotel buffet was also good. Some of the "dine around" restaurants were not so good and you need to make sure you book up well in advance, we were not told this so missed out on some of our choices. There were a few things we had not been advised properly on, one of which babysitting is cash only which caused a rather embarrassing situation as everything else is charged to the room.

Breakfast had lots of choices but our waiter numerous times forgot what we ordered and brought the wrong thing, resulting in not eating together and the kids getting bored. Also watch out for the yoghurts pots - my daughters was full of green mould ?!

Pools were very well kept but pretty chilly - esp for babies.

The main issue for us was the cost of everthing, I expected it to be pricey being a 5* resort but this put a real downer on our holiday, In my opinion 5 euro's for a juice, lemonade or small bottle of water is unacceptable no matter how much money you have! I asked for a glass of Prossecco one eve and got the most vile glass of fizzy wine for 13 euro's ! I am actually surprised people are happy to pay this ?!

Overall we did enjoy the break but probably wouldn't return.

We have now been coming to Sani for several years as a couple and have visited twice a year a couple of times. Last year we visited twice with our granddaughter in June and September on our own. we cannot fault this fantastic hotel and resort. The staff, service, food and accommodation are five star plus. Our family have been a couple of times to the resort with us and their partners and this time they are also staying at Porti Sani with us including our two year old granddaughter.
We return each year because we have no hesitation, we know that we are never disappointed and that we will have a fantastic relaxing holiday. Our son and daughter are converts too they have been elsewhere and always say it doesn't compare to Sani ! The resort is so lovely you do not have to leave it, there is plenty of bars and restaurants to keep things varied and shows to see at the resort outdoor theatre.
The staff are so friendly you feel at home as soon as you arrive including the lovely Manager. The rooms are beautiful, all the restaurants serve great food. Artemis restaurant at Porti Sani is a favourite of our family as well as See u up, Macaroni and Tomato. Beach is great for adults (prompt bar service while you sunbathe by lovely staff ) and a lovely safe beach for the little ones with shallow waters. Don't hesitate to book if you are thinking of visiting this lovely resort, we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Room Tip: We have stayed in various rooms throughout the resort all are beautiful, but if you have little ones...
