An average to nice hotel, with clean rooms and good service. The bathrooms need improvements and the breakfast could have more local goods and not so many stuff that you can find in a typical city hotel.

Room Tip: Better in winter

My wife and I live in England but planned to get married in this area knowing the region to be the perfect setting for a summer wedding.

As a couple we are quite fussy and have high standards so we were quite worried that we may be disappointed, but we need not have been. As soon as we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Even before we arrived, our wedding planner, Evagelia was extremely helpful and always trying to cater for our needs, even though we kept changing our minds about the menu and other aspects of our wedding. Also, Evi who was responsible for our room reservations, was very flexible and accommodating even though we confirmed our requirements quite late. There was a minor misunderstanding with the availability of a family adjoining room that we asked for but this was sorted out with little fuss.

The wedding day itself all ran better than we could have hoped for. Evagelia did an amazing job in the background, ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time. All the guests loved the outdoor setting for the reception overlooking the sea and complemented on the food which was cooked to perfection. The cake too went down extremely well with guests requesting more. At the end of the night, we went back to our complementary honeymoon suite which was very luxurious, bringing the perfect end to a perfect day.

The lobby area looks great and the pool area is lovely, my wedding guests certainly enjoyed many relaxing hours on the sun beds. All in all we couldn't have hoped for a better wedding and holiday for our guests, and I would certainly recommend staying here to all couples and families wanting to stay in this Volos area. For a 5* star hotel in the middle of summer we got great value for money here.

never expected to find such a lovely hotel in Volos. I have been in Volos several times but this was the one. I suggest for business travellers. The food was very nice at the Greek restaurant. Perfect view from the room. Bed was really comfortable and I ordered one of the same for myself (expensive bed though).

Room Tip: Mountain view was nice, th free upgrade to sea view was better.

We live in Australia and decide to organise our wedding there and although the distance,it was really easy. Evagelia, who is responsible for wedding, was very helpful and experienced and mentioned details we would never about. The service was very good, the food was excellent as well as the wedding cake. The wedding suite was huge and the cleaning personnel was very helpful and nice. If we would ever decide to get marry to each other again, we will definitely do it in Valis Hotel.

Situated on the beach and just 7 kilometers from busy and noisy Volos, Valis resort and spa truly has to offer a quiet and relaxing stay.Prefer rooms facing the mountain if you dont want the afternoon sun. A lot of noise is the doors are open. Make sure to ask for a device that keeps mosquitos away since there are plenty and will keep you up all night. Breakfast is very good but no fresh fruit is served. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and fish tavern and enjoyed both our meals. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage at the spa. The gym is small but efficient enough. The only thing i would change would be the carpets in the corridors which are dull and smelley.

Room Tip: Prefer rooms facing the mountain and sleep with shut doors.
