We stayed one night before a Tour de France stage this weekend. The route ran really close, and some of the "pave" sections from Paris-Roubaix are very close.
The hotel is clean, with big comfortable rooms and well equipped but a bit dated in places. However, the team who run the hotel (many of whom are the family who own it) were absolutely delightful - full of advice on where to watch the Tour and chat about the pro teams
And the attached restaurant is fab - good cooking, good value, great recommendations on food and wine. I would definitely stay there again - if only all hotels had such a lovely atmosphere.More
