This new restaurant had not been open two weeks but on arriving without a booking at 6.30 discovered they were 3/4 booked. Would have liked to sit outside as a very pleasant evening but will reserve a table next time for that. Nice choice, we went for a tasting board that was fab, it contained, fresh oysters and cooked prawns (best we have tasted for years I must say but they own the fish shop around the corner too!) terrine, their own smoked salmon, shaved copha, chorizo etc. This came with delicious warm brown bread that I think contained fennel seeds. I had the pork belly for main and my partner barramundi . Could not resist the brûlée which was just beautiful. Staff very attentive and BYO at the moment but there is a bottle shop with a great selection around the corner.
