We were out on a drizzly perth day and thought we would try some place different for lunch.
We were seated in a prompt manner and had our drinks not long after that.
Nice decor inside and with a lovely view of the marina on a rainy day, we were quite comfortable.
A sweet young lady arrived at our table with coloring in crayons and paper for our son which was a great thing to do without asking.
The same young lady heated our sons lunch without any fuss in their microwave which also was a nice thing to do.
The serving staff would easily get a 5 star mark from any person wishing to dine there but unfortunately the kitchen has let them down.
I had a steak sandwich which was 100mm long and 70mm wide....tiny.
The steak was also wafer thin at around 5mm thick at best, served with only a small handful of chips.
My wife had a beef pie, salad and a small serve of chips also.
Its a shame that the servings let the kind staff at the front of this place down..

Great location on jetty with stunning views (not that all tables have that view). Walked in for a Sunday lunch after seeing the $17.95 lunch specials advertised out the front on a large sign. One of the specials was a steak sandwich. Normal price is $28 which is too much for a steak sandwich! After taking our seats we enquired about a list of the specials to view inside to be told that they weren't available today! Today's special was a roast. When my husband mentioned the sign out the front we were told the other sign advertised the roast & what we looked at was the back of the sign!!! Well from the direction we walked it was the front! No compromises offered. (Surely false advertising!) We should have just left as we had only come in for the specials but already ordered drinks. Ended up disappointed. Long wait for food. Serves were a good size. Fish & chips was ok....came with chips & salad....& peas! (odd combination). The calamari was rubbery. The grilled chicken over cooked & very dry. Overall.....an overpriced lunch for food that was nothing special. Would go back for coffee because of the location.

Went for dinner for my birthday recently.

When we got there should of known it was going to be bad when the restaurant wasn't even half full!

Entrée lacked seasoning and the plates they gave us were filthy and we used our napkin instead. Told the waitress, she looked at them, grunted and walked away.

Then main came... AWFUL!! The 2 men had rib eye, both medium rare. The fat wasn't rendered properly and made it difficult to eat thus leaving them to leaving over 3/4 of their meal. The peas had been micro waved and shrivelled up into little sun dried peas. The only thing that was good was the chips, but they are not hard to mess up.
My main was the beef a Guinness pie. Lacked flavour and very dry and the pastry was soft as if it had been micro waved!!

If i wanted a microwave meal, i would of had a lite n easy meal!!

What a crappy dinner for my birthday and left a massive sour taste in our mouths.

We did complain to the manager on our exit but no apologies.

Never going back. Be aware people, as it is expensive and disgusting!!!

We had a dinner here on a cold winter night and would have had a better time staying at home. It is not worth the walk to the end of the boardwalk to get there.
Floor to ceiling windows overlook the water and provide a stunning view but in the cold evenings some internal heating is required. The place was like a morgue.
Only about 6 tables occupied but the wait staff were run off their feet. Some urgent training is needed. They were clueless. One could not even cope with opening a screw top bottle of wine and had no idea what to do once it was open.
I had to walk over to one to get another bottle of water as they did not even look towards our table once food was served.
The food was simple. Steaks or fish. Ok. Nothing special. One gets the same quality at a home BBQ.
Give it a miss !

Arrived at this restaurant at 7.15pm on a Wednesday evening to be told that they were too quiet so the kitchen had closed therefore we were turned away! Really??? What a way to run a business. We saw other customers inside and when we questioned why we weren't allowed in we were told they had been there for the last half hour! They turned away our custom and just wanted to close early! Other restaurants around we're fully booked. Food here is average service is slow when there is so much choice out there they need to get their act together!
