I almost feel like I shouldn't write a review because I don't want to give away my favorite secret spot in Israel BUT I just have to because it's such a darling little inn. We stayed in the Einav suite, and it felt like a 4 star b&b in Napa at a fraction of the price. The proximity to Rosh Pina made dinner a cinch, with tons of good options 5 minutes away.
Obviously, the location is ideal, only minutes from the Kinneret (okay maybe 10 or so, but the drive is worth the view), and a stones throw from Tsfat.
The thing about Betzel Ha'ella was the obvious pride that went into the upkeep: perfectly manicured rose gardens, beautiful little rooms with thoughtful extras (nespresso machine and milk in the fridge, plush robes, etc). The delicious breakfast with homemade jam was also the perfect way to start the day. I intend on making my trip to the inn annually! It's not the world's most luxurious place, after all it's a cabin in a moshav in northern Israel, but I've never felt happier in a place. The stars shine so bright there at night, the views are sweeping and the butterflies massive!
All and all one of my favorite places. Disclaimer: charm and loveliness do not equal luxury. But it was so quaint and relaxing that it more than made up for some slightly rustic features.
