Thank you staff at the campsite you are doing a wonderfull job.
The site is very good and all the bits and bobs required to make our stay were first class.
I hope that if possible we will revisit Split and if luck enough will stay at Camping Stobrec.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of August. We arrived just before 08.00 as we had been on the overnight ferry from Ancona- Reception was open, welcoming and checked us in with no waiting (it’s around 6km from the port in Split).
You can choose your own pitch-plenty of shade and beach-front plots available. Quite chalky ground so can be slightly harder to get tent pegs in the ground. There is a play park, swimming/spa area and a great set-up for dogs, with a dog beach, agility/play area and showers. Wash up and hand washing laundry areas are lovely and this campsite has the most fresh, clean and lovely toilets and showering I have experienced while camping-no need to take your loo roll with you on every toilet trip! There is a bar and small restaurant and a small shop. Buses in to Split leave from nearby and take around 15 minutes. Pitches have water and electric and there is free WiFi throughout the site. We highly recommend.

Stayed at Stobrec Camping from August 24 til August 31. Still busy and very warm but less crowded and more bearable.
We are a family of two adults and children ages 2 and 4.
Rented a wooden bungalow without a bathroom.

While I usually have some criticism to share about most places we stay in, it was difficult to find anything negative about Stobrec Camping.
1. PROFESSIONALISM: Very helpful staff. Whatever questions I had, they were answered in a precise and friendly manner. The staff was always willing to help, whether to get us a taxi or help us find a take out restaurant.
2. MAINTENANCE: The place is beautiful and well maintained. The staff can always be seen cleaning and gardening.
3. SAFETY: Plenty of security staff walking around. Little car traffic but nothing that would be of any danger to our little kids.
4. CLEANLINESS: Very clean facilities. Reguarly washed. We used the shared showers and toilets and not once did I find them to be too dirty to use. Each bathroom sink has a mirror light and an electrical outlet, if any of the ladies wanted to do their makeup and/or hair.
5. AFFORDABILITY: We were on a budget and so we needed the most affordable option. We booked a wooden bungalow with bunkbeds, a mini fridge and a good working airconditioning. We had breakfasts on a picnic table in front of our bungalow and used common showers/toilets.
6. SWIMMING POOL: We were happy to pay for the swimming pools. If the pools were free, they would be packed. But since they had to be paid for, the pool/spa facilities are clean and relaxing. Keep in mind that there is a limited amount of passes sold per day and in high season, they sell out.
7. LOCATION: It costs about 100 kuna to take a mini-van taxi from Stobrec Camping into Split and takes ca. 15 minutes.
8. FOOD: There is a restaurant and a bar on site. There is also a convenience store where we got our groceries, cold beer and diapers. There is a stand with fresh fruit and vegetables and a stand with swimming equipment.
9. CHILDREN: There are two playgrounds, although we only used the one next to the common bathrooms. The swings had worn out ropes so we did not allow our kids to use them. We did not use the other playground, as it's on the opposite end of the camping. Perhaps the playground could be a little bit better but it was still fine and our kids loved it. The animation team however was dull. The mini-disco was a disappointment. But the kids club is a good facility for rainy days. I would say this was the only negative item on my list.
10. ATMOSPHERE: We found Stobrec camping to be beautiful, safe, friendly and relaxing. It's a little oasis. There is a little stream. There are fountains. Plenty of flowers. And a lovely beach. My parents who were renting a flat in Split regreted not staying with us in Stobrec.

I would recommend the camping site to anyone who loves the sea. Our experience started weeks before our arrival, when I was enquiring about the site, transportation, activities and trips etc... I was always answered promptly, efficiently, politely and helpfully. Upon arrival, check in with a group of 9 youth was easy. We took one simple bungalow, air conditioned, 2 bunk beds, a small fridge and no toilet and a site for 3 tents. Everything was clean and well maintained. The toilets and shower blocks are roomy, comfortable and clean. It is clear that thought was put into designing them. There are lots of trees and plants including fruit various mediteranian fruit trees, peaches, olives and figs. There are a supermarket, a small shop ( where I got gas canister for our stove), a restaurant and beach bar. There are free of charge activities and kayak and sap rental at a good price and above all, there is the wonderful sea which gave us many, many hours of pleasure. The village is near by for extra restaurants and good rate exchange, buses to Split are easy to get. Overall, a wonderful campsite and a great holiday. The only thing I would recommend to improve is building a kitchen for campers to use in addition to the BBQ. We didn't use the spa facility as we were on budget.
All together, we had a great time at the camping site at a good price. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay here. Bungalows are basic but clean. The beach was nice and shallow so the kids spent a lot of time swimming in the sea. There was a small play park for the little ones.
We spent a day in the wellness centre that was lovely. It had 3 pools, a fitness area, sauna and Jacuzzi. It costs to use this facility but was well worth it.
There is a kids club although the animation staff were not very engaged with the kids.
