Ultra modern renovation with all mod cons and a few more. Great lighting effects and watch the extractor rise majestically up from the middle of the huge stone kitchen island. Isolated location half a mile from the road approx 240 mtrs above sea level with fantastic views into Wales. Despite terrible weather with rain that made the national news the dramatic views across the valleys and rain noise on the roof was wonderful. Some nice eating establishments within a couple of miles The Lion and the Jolly Frog a little quirky perhaps but nice food and people.
We did have some problems, on arrival namely a broken sewer pipe in the master en-suite that flooded the toilet floor. However the fault was repaired the promptly the very next day. (the plumber showed me the broken pipe which had been "bodged" by the builders who did the renovation) Another annoying problem was trying to control the eco heating system by various touch screens throughout the property. Despite several attempts to make sense of the many pages of double sided A4 sheets of instructions I could not reduce the heating in one section of the building consequently my daughters sleep was disturbed by the heat every night. I do class myself as being fairly tech savvy, build my own PC's etc, but this one beat me. (I never did find out if it was a T38 system)! Could open windows during the day but probably not a good idea at night.
Oh and there was a large crazy bird that insisted on waking us all every day at about 03.30 by banging on the glass door, it really did sound as though someone was knocking in an emergency but very funny when we found out who it was. (2 days later)!
All that said brilliant property in a brilliant location and we would thoroughly recommend.
