Relatively new on the accommodation scene in Fermoselle, this small 'casa rural' was a very cosy and comfortable find. The owners have completely gutted what was an old house in the centre of the village, revealing the beautiful stone walls that are a major feature of the house. Each bedroom has its own charm and whilst the furniture is old and eclectic, the beds are definitely new and comfortable. We had a double instead of the ubiquitous twins of the Spanish hotel trade and the linen was crisp, white cotton. The en suite bathroom was modern and the shower hot and powerful. Late breakfast was not a problem. The lovely owner was waiting to offer us homemade cake and jams to go with our freshly-made coffee.
There are four double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and whilst we rented just one room for one night, we are tempted to go back with family or friends and take over the whole place. Oh and the price? Excellent value for money.More
