It is one of those unknown places in Bangkok. Very few farangs visit. Ut is hard to reach but worth the effort. The only advice is to take your time. Do not rush the visit, read everything and look at each piece. It may take up to 1 full morning.

We took a taxi to the ancient city, about an hr journey and it cost about 300-350 baht to reach there from pratunam area. the taxi driver was pretty nice, he offer to wait for us at the carpark so that he could fetch us back to bangkok after we are done with it.

it is good to start the day early, we reached there about 9.30am and the park was quite peaceful. There is not much foreign tourist, mostly local students. it would be advisable to rent the buggy (300baht per hour) even though the entrance fee include free usage of bicycle. we took about 3hrs to tour around the park. the sculptures and park were pretty well maintained.

It is definitely a very good place to take photographs and to explore! Just remember to bring your shades and sunblock.

The location is not in the hub of bangkok, but can reach by taxi or car.
Many things to take a photo and have a look.

If you only have a limited time to visit Thailand, go to this amusement park in the province of Samut Prakan to experience all in one day. The miniature replica's were amazing!

Tip :
Get a train then take a taxi, tour package is expensive
Come early, whole day is needed to visit each scene
take a golf cart instead of a bike

*dont miss the floating market village, best phad thai I've tasted!

If you have a couple hours to kill while in Bangkok this is an interesting place to visit. I enjoyed the guided tour and there were certainly a few cool things to see. Once was enough enough.
