After seeing the other rave reviews of this B&B we were expecting something nice, but Sara's hospitality far exceeded expectations. The moment she opened the door to us we were treated with genuine warmth and a wonderfully relaxed approach.
Everything others have said about the prettiness of the cottage, the good breakfast, the nice rooms, is all true. But we had an experience that made us realize how special Sara is. My wife injured her ankle whilst walking the Two Moors Way and Sara could not have been more helpful and accommodating, organizing her day so that she could drive us to our next B&B. And she didn't just drive us straight there but gave us a wonderful tour of the Moors.
We really appreciated how graciously she helped us out of a difficult situation. As she said, she treats her guests as she would wish to be treated - and it shows!
I would also add that a previous review's comment about sharing a bathroom is inaccurate. The bathroom is not "en suite" but it is for the use of only one room. There is a separate bathroom for the other guest room. And the bathroom is large, light and lovely.More
