We did a tour of the vineyard in July 2012, we have holidayed in east Ogwell this week and couldn't resist coming back! Had the lovely tapas platter and pizza, washed down with pebblebed's finest! Really worth the trip, great to meet Geoff again! Really relaxing venue and sunshine too-which for October was great! Keep up the good work-happy harvest!

Sipping sparkling rosé wine at 11am on a sunny Saturday morning at Pebble Bed's vineyard is not the usual way I start the day but one I'd happily adopt! At only £25 each for a wander around the vineyard being educated on how Pebble Bed have been able to create such fantastic wines was a real joy. The wine tasting was excellent and there was enough to appreciate the taste without leaving the vineyard feeling a little worse for wear. To also have tapas at the cellar in Topsham was a real treat too and I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

If you are a wine lover and traveling to Devon, you must stop at Pebblebed. After discovering the wine bar in Topsham, Geoff graciously invited us on a vineyard tour, which turned out perfect. Alex was very knowledgeable and made the group feel at home. Your wines are unique and very easy to drink! Thanks again for making a couple of Oregonians feel welcome!

I just wanted to drop you a quick line and thank you for a brilliant day yesterday. The vineyard tour, the knowledge and enthusiasm shown by Alex (again a real asset to you), your stunning wines (you converted two non-Rose drinkers!) and of course the unique ambience and atmosphere in the Cellar.

We had he most perfect day, met some lovely people and have memories for a lifetime.

You will see us again and again.

All the very best and we'll be back very soon.

We went for a wine tasting meal at £20 head. The wine was nice and tasty and slightly different from the usual plonk at the supermarket. A bit more would have Been nice, but this is a common problem with tasting menus. The wine is dished out in thimblefuls, a lot of time spent trying to make it look like they are filling the glass when they are not.
The tapas is not tapas as we know it. A choice of a piece of pizza, or bread with a bit of fish, salami, or some cheeses. It should be advertised as wine and cheese not tapas.
Overall an ok experience but certainly nothing special.

Some nuts or olives to start would have been good.
